[Philippines] [Fiesta sa nayon - Sidlakan Dance Company]
The tradition of the Fiesta sa Nayon(a Filipino phrase that translates to “town festival”) dates back centuries to the rural areas and towns of the Philippines. During Fiesta sa Nayon, Filipinos would gather for a fiesta in the middle of the town to celebrate a good harvest, and it would be a particular time for the people to focus on their neighbors, family and friends, solidifying the sense of community and hard work.

Stop with this racist misconception. Filipino is not a race. Filipinos come with different shapes and colors.

The dress is similar to Venezuelan Flag, I mean the big heavy dress. The Venezuelan have that dress and put colors of their flag on it.
