My neighbor has a blue one like that. They are great people but have more money than sense. They never took care of their ski. Any time there’s a problem they bring it to the dealership. They year they blew the engine this spring then a couple weeks ago had there carbon seal go out. Seeing there ski 5 feet below water was priceless. I think it had 160 hours on it.

Considering this one or the Yamaha VX series. In regards to reliability which of the two would you recommend?

Can you tell me if you ever notice a strong plastic smell coming from the front compartment.... I have a 2019 model and smell is noticeable when opened. There is a big chunk of foam in there so pehaps thats the smell. What are your thoughts, tks for your videos.

The one thing I dont like is the seat being one piece, when its soaking wet it weighs a tonne. The seals arent great either, this is one you dont wanna capsize. Dont ask how I know haha

When you click on mode level should it be on level 1 or level 5 for top speed.

Top speed is always the same... Modes are for acceleration...

You mention the 90 hp one goes 47-48. Are you sure on these numbers? The Spark goes that fast but is 200 lbs lighter ,and other reviews state top speed of the 90 GTI SE around 42-43.

Looks like I messed up, you're right the GTI 90hp goes around 42mph.

Steve Lovelace no worries Steve. I’m more of a touring guy than a donuts and wheelie guy so 42 mph is still lots with the incredible fuel efficiency the 900 HO ACE offers. Trading my spark in for the GTI SE 90 this spring. Keep up the great reviews man!!

Thanks for the video. Was there anything different from last year besides the color? I was also wondering if you knew about the 2018 GTS model has iBR or not. Based on Sea-Doo’s website I noticed it was included. Could you confirm this?

The GTS does not have iBR. It does have iTC which is the sport, touring, and ECO mode but it does not have brakes, neutral or reverse. The GTI does have a iBR and iTC and all that change was the colors in 2018.

How has seadoo made their boats slower? My 2000 gtx could do 65 every day. It’s been 18 years, c’mon seadoo.

Seadoo sales guys using the term “nothing to hold you back” when referring to sport mode a cringey.
