Alicia, I'm glad you ask. Allow me to lay it straight here...there is no need for me to dissemble my distaste for how she has acquitted herself on and off the court. But first, concerning her being overrated, here's a link to a piece about John McEnroe's introspective assessment of her as a 'great player' -- www.vox.com/culture/2017/6/27/15879520/john-mcenroe-serena-williams-greatest-controversy ; I am in concurrence with his take on that that she is being oversold. As for her unsportsmanlike court ethics, pls read a second link here, and let me know what you think Alicia... bleacherreport.com/articles/254026-the-serena-williams-controversy-and-the-elephant-in-the-roomrace I am also here reminded about what was circulated in the grapevine not too long ago of her stiffing/mistreating the wait staff at an upscale NY restaurant where she hosted her guests. (Google it just so you know I didn't make it up.)

Nidsy A I disagree. Graff won a golden slam, won 22 slams, was longer at number one, won more tournaments, and retired at 29. Justine Henin, Kim Klysters, and Ameli Muersmo, and Hingis, all retired in their mid 20s, havind defeated Williams multiples of times in slams. Both Henin and Klysrer returned from returned from retirement to defeat her again and win more slams, before quickly retiring again by age 28. Serena was incredibly lucky. I consider Graff the best for all of what she won and her total dominance, something that could not be said about williams.

And Steffi was getting CRUSHED BY a 19 year old Seles until the stabbing. Steffi had no competition whatsoever, played a bunch of glorified pushers (and even struggled with an old Navratilova). The other talents in the era (Seles and Capriati) both were plagued with horrible bouts of fate. If Seles wasn't stabbed and Capriati didn't explode mentally after her injuries, Steffi would have 15 slams at most. Monica was just that good. Serena had CRAZY competition and faced power unlike previous generations, faced a combined 6 YEARS of injuries (and avoided death due to blood clots twice), and still won more Slams then Steffi. Oh and let's not forget that Serena beat Steffi in the latter years of her prime as a 16 YEAR OLD. There's really not much of a claim for Steffi as the GOAT.

I feel like WTA is Lifting their standards in highlights, in Acapulco last week there were 9 minute highlights and today 7 Minutes, But I feel like they we releasing longer highlights, but less matches. So I guess you either have big matches, long highlights, or all matches, small highlights. Great job Serena, coming back from pregnancy and you play this great! And congratulate Vika, her highlights aren’t up so just thought I’d put them in the same comment. I wish vika all luck with her child and custody, must be heartbreaking for her. 🙁 Edit: just watched the rest of the vid and no handshake? 7 minutes of highlights and no handshake, ghee.

Macai Mattheiu Sharapova fills all the stadiuns around the world except the U.S. for obvious reasons. That's why Serena and Wozniaki are butthurt about this. Sharapova makes more money than her, and she's more bankable then Serena. Serena doesn't attract business opportunities the way Sharapova does. Because she's an extremely unattractive... woman....or whatever she is..that she is.

The point at 2.15, Serena can barely move. She should do very basic jogging and built up her aerobic fitness. There are some good players out there who will take advantage of that. Her ball striking seems fine. You would worry about her weight and health for the future.

Put ANY of these current slam players in Serena's shoes...and we won't even be talking about their movement, aerobic fitness (or lack thereof) because they would NOT be on the court to begin with!

You have some top players that have lower rankings! She has to get out there and play to get her full powerful, unique and incomparable game back in tact. She's not ready? What do you suggest she do? Stay out and wait another 6 months? You sound very ignorant about the game of tennis. In fact, you are ignorant.

I don't care for William's persinality. She seems histrionic. That is she seems to love screaming negative emotions, in a sort of gamesmanship way, in order to intimidate her opponents, as if to say "don't make me mad". Histrionics tend to be charming, but everything is about drawing attention to themselves, and how important they are. They tend to make poor leaders, and tend to have some ethical issues. Hence Serena's physical threat to a lines person and to an Umpire going back to the match against Kim Klysters in the US open, that led to her default. She should of course been banned from the sport, but then the tennis authorities had ethical issues. I and her female competitors find her blatant gamesmanship deplorable. That Italian lady who defeated Williams in the US open semi in 2015 or 2016, simply laughed at Serena's screaming and roaring after points. I find less gsmesmanship in the mens game.

You are a sorry person, Serena has been good to the sport, she has carried player to three sets when she could have won in two sets, just to please people like you, grand slams , it's funny she could have already broken all the records but because of people like you, that couldn't have taken it, you have heard the term, stay in your place, well Dennis Daly, Serena, she is well paid, money talk bull shit walk, so people like you just take a walk, Oh yea she is a female, she just had a baby, she's not a man, and the Italian lady you talked about in the U S Open, Now I know you don't know sports, and I know you don't bet the Horses , and do you understand entertainment, keep watching and enjoy the sport .
