I just bought one of these. I was in the market for my first pickup truck. It was between the Hemi RAM and the F150 XLT. I have no regrets.

I guess you drove both? The new Rams are very impressive, it would have to be my first choice if buying a new pickup today. Interiors are light years beyond Fords, and the ride quality is awesome.

Thanks for the Video, which was great. you showed interesting points for me , I have had Ford diesel f-250 and the gas f-150 , so at my age I don't do what i use to so I will go back to gas engine. I have a explorer sports 3.5 and I love it I will get a 3.5 f-150 Truck. I have always bought ford trucks except one International 74 model. the chevy guys has always rode me but they can't win me over , once again thanks for a great show and tell video.

Great review. Own my own business and need a truck and looked at silverados, rams, and f150s. Just locked in a f150 xlt super crew with the chrome trim package, and leather interior plus all the same bells and whistles you have. I had an A plan discount number but im leasing it at $290 a month with an option to buy in two years. 12,000 miles a year. Great deal and im in love. Got it in Lansing Michigan btw! Thanks for helping me make the choice.

GoProGRIFFS thanks! And yeah so far im in love. I love that it doesnt have the push to start or the twist knob for a gear shift. (Im old school). Only small things i dont love are the awkward placement of the unlock buttons and the automatic on off start at stoplights but at least i can turn that off. Look forward to any updates

Rafael Estrada i just traded in my dodge avenger as my money down. They gave me $4k for a trade in, certainly a substantial amount but nothing out of the ordinary for a trade in. I did get some discounts/rebates and utilized multiple ford dealerships who competed with one anothers offers.

Johnny Khun Thanks for the comment! I actually just ran into my first "issue". Had some weird transmission slipping going on. Had it looked at and nothing was found. Ford reflashed my computer and the issue has been resolved. So may have just been a fluke in the computer. I am now at 5000 miles and I'm averaging about 19 mpg combined. I can hit about 22 at most on the highway so far. Any more questions let me know!

Good review. Only thing I take issue with is the key- I hate the old school key on our 2016 F150, it feels flimsy and like it will break eventually. A simple start button is far more convenient, and I would say no more likely to break than any other button, such as the start/stop button. Which I disable first thing BTW :)

David Flores Honestly I know two people who have the 2.7 and the mileage is not much different from the 3.5. My mpgs DRASTICALLY improved after 10k miles. I'm averaging 19.5 combined. 23 highway. City can be down in the 14 area. So honestly you can't go wrong with either. 3.5 will tow much better though.

I actually leased it for 2 years for a couple reasons. 1.) Never owned an ecoboost and wanted to try it out before completely buying it. 2.) Never owned a new vehicle in my life and wanted to see what it's like. So my payment is $300 month for 2 years. I don't plan on buying this one at the end. May consider switching to the 5.0 or the new bronco coming out. But the sticker price for me to buy it now is 51k. After the lease it's worth 33k.

Such as, what mph were you traveling when you achieved a hand calculated mpg of 20.5? 55 mph? 65 mph? 70.... 75.... 80? If it is 60-65 mph, that is unrealistic for most people.
