Just bought two Borla Atak mufflers single in single out and bumped the pipe up to 3 inch all the way and no resonator of course, 5.0 sounds like a beast with the true dual

That's a beast sounding set up i saw the same one of lmfscrew channel too those are some good sounding trucks with that borla

God damn them 5.0s cray cray

_I like the headlights it's different from the norm. Reminds me of a truck version of the rtr grille lights people put on the S550 Mustangs._

Sounds really awesome and it dosen't need to be louder or quiet

@@NXT_LVL This guy "modded" his truck to make it sound like there was some performance added to it. He realized that was a mistake so he bought a system that actually proven to make power, has an aggressive sound, doesn't drone, and has a million mile warranty. That is being smart. Unfortunately not all vehicles have options like this. By the time I had the perfect sounding system for my latest project a system came out for it that I would have bought if I knew about it earlier. Oh well.

Only in america, the sound of american V-8 engines is just unbeatable.

Went from straight out duals to the dual side exit tail pipes and is even more agressive! The borla tail pipes are interchangeable on these kits if anyone was wondering, just gotta find someone willing to part with half a catback.

or just have the exhaust shop make it for you... you're already paying Borla for the muffler and the tips, why the unneeded pre-bent stainless too. Had a shop do mine 2.5" 409 SS mandrel bent. Labor and pipe + Tax was under $180. Had them cut the stock SS pipe as far back as they needed and just the 3ish feet of pipe needed Post muffler.

@@NXT_LVL It is dyno tested to make power, doesn't drone, and is guaranteed for a million miles. You get what you pay for.

Monster sound. My gas mileage would suffer, cause I'd be in the gas all the time.

get some good exhaust like this get a cold air intake you cold pick up 4-5 mpg.

I LOVE my Borla ATAK on my Ram 1500!

Much better. Good choice.

Put a flowmaster outlaw race tube muffler on the 5.0 ,no need to remove the resonator, and you can enjoy that engine revs 😊

The muffler delete would sound better if you add a y-pipe after the resonator with 2.5" pipes and 4" tips for a louder, deeper tone. It'd be a lot cheaper than the Borla too.

All your doing is redirecting pre-blended pulses. The Y post Cats makes it a single system. Splitting it post muffler as "fake duals" just balances the tone left/right of the truck to be out the back because of the spare tire. (in terms of L and R 2 channel audio) Gives the sound illusion of duals

@@NXT_LVL dual tailpipes look better, the tips make it louder and deeper and with one closer to the captain's side now you can hear it better never said anything about making it true dual that way, in fact true duals are worse for torque so it's pointless in a truck

I just realized these kits are a straight pipe with a resonator.

That is a very very sexy truck and the exhaust nasty!! It fits the hole look I would love to have that truck good job with it

I cannot find the muffler on borla is that a muffler or resinater cause i just want to buy the muffler

Hate to say this but I think just the muffler delete sounded better - it had a more deep, growl tone to it. This Borla sounds like Corsa - rasp.

What headlights are those ?

Does anyone have experience with the S-Type and the ATAK? I have the s-type on my 20 and am always wondering if it should be louder. It sounds great above 2,500 rpms but I would like something a little louder at lower rpms.

Not even real dual exhaust. It has one inlet from the manifold/headers.
