If that's a good example of current Gospel music then it's CHEESY AF..... the music blows!

C-Rod has great pocket and groove with any and every song he plays, I enjoy how he is able put different fills in places you wouldn't hear them. Amazing gospel drummer all time, I have been following C-Rod for a long time. He inspires me to play drums more. Calvin is also able to transition between songs with ease.

His kits are always tuned so perfect. And love his style and sound with his switch to meinl cymbals. Suits his style and playing perfectly.

I believe the trend for lots of these gospel jazz fusion rock definitely funk and all around great drummers of the world was set and influenced by the original beast and grandmaster of drumming. The (GOAT) and one and only Mr. Dennis (DC) chambers. Who was once known as the Mike Tyson of drumming. But this brother C rod is very good and fluent in his playing ability. I love his playing and take nothing away from it.
