2018 Acura MDX Auction car! POV test drive walk around almost a quarter million miles!

I am actually looking at this car to purchase for my aunt that has the beater Lexus. She’s ready for an SUV. She has a few more grandbabies and needs a little more room. Her budget is 15,000 cash. I think I might be able to get this one for under that, I hope, it ran through this week and I accidentally missed it Go across the Auction block, but it was a “no sale”. So that means the auctioneer could not draw a good bid. I’m sure the dealer will reevaluate their price for this week and it should be a little lower. I will keep you updated if I get lucky on this one because it is so other than a few small dents on the roof

It's funny, my 2019 Honda Civic LX base model had the adaptive cruise and auto steering standard. They worked very well too.
I wouldn’t pay over 12. Magic eraser should take out the paint transfer on the seat. That would be great for your aunt. I like the styling of these and 90 percent of these I see, they’re driven very aggressively to put it nicely.

I found out from the dealer this week that the timing belt has never been changed 👀

@@JoesGoldenGarage If you can win it, get the tb serviced and it should be good for a long time. It’s good to know it needs to be done, but it wouldn’t bother me if it was t throwing codes or showing signs failing. Nice car!
The 2018 has Apple Carplay/Android Auto, even if it is a Standard trim level (that has no built in navi). So the tech is good-to-go.
Buy it! I believe these got better once the 2016-ish transmission issues got sorted out. People seem to like them. It looks taken care of and it'll probably go another 5-10 years.
My little sister and a cousin has one of these.
I think this has the direct injection. I wonder if they had any issues around that.
Would a 2010-2016 RX be too small? Those are comfortably in and around the 10-15k mark

Well, that’s what she really wants but 2016 is the body change. She really wants adaptive cruise and Lane and this Acura has it. FYI, this Acura still has not sold and will be running through tomorrow morning, Thursday the 11th.
Ahhh timing belt 🤦🏻♂️…at a quarter million miles🤔…I’m sure the owner might have changed the belt…but I prefer timing chains to belt any day 👌

My guess is $10k-$12k. Complete guess on its value at auction…

It still has not sold. It will go through again tomorrow morning on the 11th for some reason the Acura dealer wants too much money for it and won’t let it go. I called them to check timing belt history and they have never done the timing belt. 😳
