Well these are certainly a few ways of teaching young children the importance of everyday cooperation and teamwork. Even if they don't need diapers (it's underwear all the same to them) or can feed themselves on there own (helps build trust and positivity among peers), I'm sure they have a greater sense of unity there than a public school classroom in America of the same year. Of course in all naivety, most outsiders will look at this with appall and confusion.
