it's the same camera as any wttc previous videos. they just took the time to upload the right (higher resolution) file. now that was a great ittf video.

@@AnilSharma-sp7us I can't really tell which player got more sympathy from the spectators. The general feeling was that people anticipated the clash of the two best players and were looking forward to it. I was there with my local club mates and if I remember correctly most of them were in favour of Fan Zhendong but just for the reason that he was younger and some kind of a challenger. I was a bit more in favour of ML. But it really did not play a big role which player you liked more, as the quality of the match was so high. I would reckon the atmosphere was extraordinary for a table tennis contest. There were laolas, feet stomping and people were quite excited. The whole infrastructure was great. If you were lucky, you could approach the players on the way to the court or meet them when they walked through the hall. I made a photo with one of my favourite players (Masataka Morizono). We spent a few days in Düsseldorf and it was a really nice trip with my club. I hope we can do this again one day, but you know how things are right now... Sorry for the late answer, I intended to reply faster but then forgot about it... :P Only realized it now that I came back to watch the match once again. Have a great time playing and watching table tennis and stay well!

Fan Zhendong had more than his fair share of disappointments early in life. I am happy that he went on to win two back-to-back championships in 2021 and 2023!

This is probably the best match i have ever seen in the history of the game. Ma Long is the real legend of the game.

SEAL team Ricks Waldner's blocks with the new balls wouldn't really affect much especially not the Chinese players, his use of other players spin was one of his specialties.

1:55 insane backhand duel...amazing!

Even though the 2015 match between ma long and fang bo had better rallies, this is the match with the highest level of table tennis I have ever seen. Also the most exciting one. Definitely, Ma long is the best player of all time or at least of the modern table tennis.

The camera is too far away kzread.info/dash/bejne/gnedsrSfhMq8fMo.html Watch this video to see the difference that a good camera angle can make, despite the lower quality of the video you can appreciate the quick movement of the players and the spin being generated. Though this video is still very good due to the high quality a better camera angle would have made it even better.

I remember 10 years ago watching Ma Lin/WLQ matches and thinking how far that have pushed the limit of whats humanly possible. Now, this is a whole other level of fitness, agility and mental stamina. What will we see in 10 years ?It is mind boggling!

Two legends of Table Tennis. Perhaps the best match i have ever seen so far.

Ma Long and Fan Zhendong playing against each other is like looking at 2 dragons fight. The best thing that happened to the history of table tennis :)

This is tablet tennis! *THIS IS WHAT WE REALLY DO LOVE!!!* Ma Long and Fan Zhendong are two great champions, their skills are amazing, their power is impressive, but the champion of the champions is our red dragon, Ma Long! He won winning only 4 points more than Fan Zhendong: this is the evidence they're two fantastic table tennis players. I love this sport and I love this incredible match.

Thank you ITTF for delivering this video, worthy of the WC final, 1080p 50 FPS, great angles, slow motions, great commentators, superb, what this sport deserves! I just hope, that, in a near future, every video will have this quiality or at least an acceptable one =D

Throughout the previous matches Fan looked in top form and i was thinking it was his time. Last game thought, yeah he's got it.. but damn Ma is a beast and so focused.. What a great game! Best final ever.

Just before this video, I watched the 2015 semifinal between Ma Long and Fan Zhendong. The difference between 2015 Fan Zhendong and 2017 Fan Zhendong is day and night.

Coming back 2 years later, I came to a conclusion that this is the best match in the last 5 years.

Mad props to Adam for the call. Hearing his voice break on the final shot was on par with how insanely intense this entire match was.

While everyone always complaints about the ittf video quality, I want to thank them for actually putting out so many videos, making almost every match available to watch for free. I don't think many other sport associations do that to this extent.

Janus has so many matches in full HD on his channel. The full content is there. Someone just need to talk to him and ask to do the short version. Anyway, I think ITTF has plans to sell all videos in the future. It will be hard for them to sell if everything is uploaded in best quality. It's something like free version x premium version.

look at 1:32 and 12:07, that's why MA Long is still the No.1 in the world.

Ludo Just think about Tomokazu Harimoto, he'll beat FZD easily when he grows up. He got into quarter finals in this 2017 WTTC with just 13 years.
