What a game from Koki. And i dont understand why the umpires allow the Ovtcharov service. The tomahawk start in one corner and hit the ball in the other corner. Bad as shit.

@@irtiza4262 ok... I'm just a clueless dude... With 10 years of experience being ITTF White badge Umpire, Blue Badge in process, World Junior circuit and some other tournaments. And I think I can tell when a service is BAD AS SHIT.

Sigh, both German players were defeated before the semifinals on home territory, it really is quite sad

Timo put up a great fight against world no.1 Ma Long in the quarterfinal tho. Dima getting knocked out in R16 against Koki Niwa really is disappointing.

Ovtcharov loses focus now and then and starts relying on his skills and mere luck, instead it would greatly benefit him if he stays focused and implement strategies.

DarkSpinningTV if the serve is more than 95% straight it's fine it's almost impossible to throw such a light ball straight up without it moving a bit

Yeah I agree but plz he start from his backhand to finish on his forehand...

DarkSpinningTV he starts middle table to finish middle backhand it is not nearly as extreme as everyone likes to say besides with the serve being pure side spin the rotation doesn't matter
