Hey great review! I bought my 2017 Arctic Wildcat Trail from the same place, they had the best prices around. I've got the same soft top roof and love it. The only thing I did to the roof was add Velcro straps around each roll bar where they attach. I had a buckle snap when I was towing the machine down the freeway. This will give your roof more strength and less stress on those buckles.

I had a buckle break also, I sold this machine to a good friend and he doesn’t trailer it

I did the Rigid box too. I made my big one an ice chest. Love that I can stack them. I got the rigid basket cut it off and mounted it first now I can stack more on top. Mix and match. Went to 6 ply tires also . The 700 is plenty fast for me. Keep posting

newstuff, the wildcat is a good little unit, I have moved up to a rzr turbo now and the wildcat is for sale, but that is purely because I wanted more power, I would like recommend the wildcat cat to anyone looking to get in to the sport.

I was on the fence about what to get for a side by side. This was a great video. Thank you. Nice rig.

Thomas Cornelius this was a great little machine, I really wanted to keep it when I bought my rzr but I couldn’t afford to have both right now, the rzr turbo is faster and rides better but, the wildcat was way more maneuverable and just fun to ride, I sold it to a friend and he already has over 2000 miles in it and all he had had to do was replace a torn axel boot

One sorry transmission that won't change gears. Many people try to force the stick and end up breaking the cable. Have seen the same complaint on you tube from many owners. So far the maker has not performed a recall. Engagement of the drive belt takes to long in the windup and there is a jerk on movement. There are far better choices out there in 2022.

Surprised at the positive for the Wildcat Sport. Used to see many reports of a sorry transmission that would not change gears. Some owners broke the cable forcing the stick. My unit has/had the same problems. The dealer failed to deal with the problem and the manufacturer has not issued a recall. Would NOT buy his unit if I had a do-over.

I love everything else about it except for the door's. Chinsy design never latched well no matter how much adjusting

Wondering about the a arm bushings that are non grease able. And fail often... And the wheel bearings that you have to buy a greasing tool for and pull the axles to grease them or they fail. I have 3 thousand miles on a 2016 and the a arm bushings are toast wheel bearings are on the way out.

Thks for the vid. Doesn't it have storage under the hood? My '15 Sport Ltd does. Also like the tow hitch good useful add on.

How did you like the sport when you had it? With the air intake being by the driver door did you have any issues with sucking in water or ever have to worry about water getting in there? Looking at a 2018 sport xt 700 and that’s the only concern I have with it, where I ride there’s always places to go around but still wanna go through some mud holes and stuff and get dirty so just wondering if you had any grief with the air intake and going through deeper water/mud.

Landon Phoenix I really liked it a lot and I would routinely go through wary that was almost to the seat and a few time a little deeper, it seams as long as you kept moving the water was forced away from the intake, if you look at my channel you will see I believe it’s my 4th video I stuck it good in the mud to the point that the tires were almost completely submerged and it was fine

Offroad Trolls Thanks for the reply, that’s awesome I will check out some more of your videos 👍 was there anything to keep an eye on while you had it or any mods or upgrades you recommend for it besides a winch, roof, windshield and bumpers

Landon Phoenix I highly recommend a winch as when I stuck mine I didn’t have one haha, the guy I sold it to is a friend and it now has over 2000 miles, all he has had to do other than regular service is replace a torn axel boot, it’s a real nice little machine, only thing I didn’t like it there was a lot of engine heat from between the seats, made for nice cold weather riding but it was sometimes to warm in the heat

Offroad Trolls Haha yeah the first thing I’m going to do is a winch. That’s awesome sounds like a good machine, thanks for the info. I noticed that on my 2011 prowler 1000xtz, seemed to always get lots of heat from the engine and would get a little warm when you were riding around but was nice on the cooler days.

Under the driver seat is more room to put things in or at least there is in my 2015

Philip Wilson the wildcat is a fun little sxs, I did buy a rzr turbo and if I could have afforded to keep both I definitely would have, I sold it to a good friend of mine, hopefully we will be doing some riding together soon, really want to get some more videos of this machine

Thank You for the Fantastic Video, is priceless for someone like myself looking to enter the market. I've always had quads, presently a grizzly 700 that I've owned for 10 years, ZERO issues. I plan on keeping it. Deff interested in adding a SXS sport to my garage. In Pennsylvania the trails can be super tight, even for a quad, but keeping mine I should get plenty of use out of both. The 50" models just seem to lose Soo much over their larger counter parts. Have you found much difference in quality/cost to own/dependability between the Wildcat and the Razor ? Seems everyone is talking about the top notch performance of the Polaris, but the cost to own/reliability, not Soo much. I keep getting dragged back to the Wildcat in my mind. Maybe the high revving engine, low seating ? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts comparing the two. Keep up the great job !!!!

Joe Chief honestly the biggest difference is the ride, and speed, the rzr is smoother, and quicker obviously, but the wildcat was more maneuverable, I still highly recommend the wildcat to someone looking to get in to the sxs market, I sold it to a friend and it now has over 1700 miles and still no issues other than he changed the belt and popped a tire
