The aygo would have been perfect (if) it had a bigger engine - more hp. If they make a version with 85-90 hp 1.1 vvti engine then i will buy one

Informative and interesting, my partner test drive the Aygo and Yaris second hand and to be fair fell in love with the Aygo, as from Tuesday he will be a proud owner of an Aygo :)

The Aygo is so tiny for drivers over 5 ft tall the rear seats are unusable. The 1.5L is more efficient than the 1.3L Yaris. Hence why the 1.3 was discontinued.

Really liked this video, hoping to get the exact version / colour scheme of the aygo here tbh. The driver of the Yaris came across ponce-ish & arrogant, a bit of a knob tbh lol... Keep up the good work and look out for future unicorns ;)

Great review. I'm helping my mum look for a replacement for her 2004 Yaris (150,000 miles!) and this has me leaning towards the Aygo. However your comment in description seems to imply there's a big difference in the Aygo 3 door and the 5 door price, but I think you must have been looking at a higher spec 5 door. The price difference for same specs is just £400 more for the 5 door. Current (late 2017) starting price for 5 door is £9395 (v £8995 for 3 door)

Had a 2002 Yaris 1.3L for 14yrs & wanted a Aygo but it hasn't got the proper auto box not the CVT so i got a 2015 1.3L CVT which i'm way happy with. Such a shame Aygo's got those MMT's ☹

Just bought my first car; toyota aygo x-cite and i feel like a boy racer hahah. I love it♥

Rose, i've not been in it when its rained. I live in newcastle and its dry most of the time but im from manchester and if i had to drive there, it would be raining all the time !! I passed my test in a mini so still getting used to the pedals haha and the revs !!

It's funny how for years now young ones just aren't interested in going for bikes unlike years ago, it's always a "nice wee car"

Very interesting review and test driving, I loved your presentation since it is fun to watch and informative. I couldn't grasp the answers from the young man due to low sound from the microphone, can you please correct that in future by adding an extra microphone or just have a microphone to share with all of you whenever someone needs to ask a question or to answer. I have the Aygo my self but I would prefer the Yaris in future for better performance and space, it looks cooler than the aygo outside.

Hi sir🙂nice video.At toyota aygo if you shift the gears when that light comes on you will get pretty nice and low fuel consumption😉 i have one aygo x press and fuel consumption is 3.6-3.8 l/100km .But offcourse if you shift gears at 5500 RPM you will get about 12-14 l/100km😅😅

I was the same at 19 regarding prefering the 3 door version.......

you would love it to be 3 doors , only if it is a super racing car , but for a small car like that for ride with friends and family , im with the 5 doors

the official mpg is about 65mpg but most people are getting 55+mpg or worse depending how bad you drive

So you compared two cars back to back, but had a different person drive each one (but not both cars), and you also invited a guest in the form of a prospective buyer - but didn't have them drive either car? I did like the facts and figures and research though! :)

Um mm..how do they get away with calling a "hatchback"...when there's NO back? Nikki Menage has more back than this car..
