That grid is simply beautiful... Wish you´d see more classics turning their wheels in anger. Always an awe-inspiring sight.

It's great how there's a lot more Aussie muscle in the field.

Great to see Jim Richards back in the Ford! A nicer car than the AMC Javellin I reckon. He was more successful in the Ford previously.

The Javelin is a car with a lot of racing success under its wheels. I'm sure Jim'll have it going like a rocket before too long, but getting caught up in the Clipsal mess won't have helped as it's taken a huge amount of development time out of the project. It's always nice to see something older like a Falcon Sprint out and scoring good results as they are a very iconic touring car as much as the Sierra Cosworths, but it's also nice to see unusual cars like the Javelin getting a look in too, the category might get a bit boring if it was all Falcons, Monaros, Mustangs and Toranas...

It's fun seeing the Torana up against the aircraft carrier Falcon fastback. It looks like you could put the Torana in the boot of the big Ford...

Wouldn't that Ford Falcon be called a Ford Torino in the States?

You don't put a 360 in a charger and expect it to work on a race track without serious re-engineering.

Whitelines panel bill is far smaller for the yellow car now. Adam looks after it far better! And powersteering on a Torana? They raced those things in the 70s with far wider tyres than the ones TCM cars use. Girls!! Or Supercar wheel alignments with lots of non standard parts

Modern rubber got a bit more bite tho. And these got far more power.
