I did my driving school in this Fabia, always feels so good to see the interior :) Nice memories!
We had this Fabia for few days as a rental. My mom did 3.9L and I did 4.4l/100kms with ease. I loved the engine, even tho its a 3 cylinder it has an interesting sound and the car moves very well. I didnt even think it would go that well. It has that turbo diesel punch, since it has some torque and Fabia is light. This engine in 3rd gen Fabia most likely with good service history and plan will last about 500 000km. The biggest issue hereis the driver, not the car.

Nice one, I had a 2011 Fabia.
Fabia w swojej klasie w tej wersji ma chyba największy bagażnik. Natomiast w opisie zakradł się najprawdopodobniej błąd. Otóż diesel 1.4 był 3 cylindrowy. Nie zwrócił bym może uwagi ale jeździłem Polo i wcześniejszą generacja Fabi z tym silnikiem i w mojej ocenie spalanie "symboliczne" jednakże samą charakterystykę pracy oceniam źle. Oczywiście zaznaczam że to tylko moja opinia i nie każdy musi się z tym zgodzać. Pozdrawiam wszystkich motomaniakòw.

Ten diesel chodzi jakby się miał rozpaść - mega nieprzyjemny dźwięk mają te diesle na niskich i średnich obrotach 🤨

Siemka, a orientujesz się może ile w rzeczywistości pali na 100km tryb mieszany? Potrzebuje coś co dużo nie pali na dojazdy do pracy w dieselku , a może Ty byś coś podradził?
Mam Śkodę Roomster 1.9 TDI jestem bardzo zadowolony też 105 km ciągnie przyczepę kampingową aż miło zastanawiam się nad kupnem takiej fabii .
Ten dźwięk przypomina VW LT z lat 80-90 hehe, którym jeździłem

Jeżdżę taką Fabią z małym 1.0 MPI 60KM. do tego na gazie, tako po lifcie i wrażenia akustyczne są zdecydowanie lepsze. Osiągi nie za specjalne, ale nie mam się po co ścigać i z kim ścigać za to spalanie 5L. to jest ogromny plus. 🙂

That's because it's a 3-cylinder turbodiesel. They're not terrible to drive but apparently they suffer some problems.
