I was at this performance in Lake Placid and Kaori was a delightful surprise. I knew she'd be part of Japan's ladies arsenal in competitions to come. WONDERFUL program skated to one of my favorite film soundtracks.

OMG UR SO RIGHT IT IS SO IN SYNC AND JAW DROPPING

4:11 - 4:18 fast forward to 2021, now, Johnny and Tara are calling her skating “ wild & sloppy “ and “like a train wreck”. Shame on them. Kaori is still the best for me
