To the person saying they want to make budget videos but don't think that they make enough: I feel like more people might be able to relate and feel like their videos hep reach their goals regardless of a maybe smaller income. Don't let it hold you back!

Not fair! You get to have a cute budget book with stickers and colors lol...I can't get away with that being a male...love your videos! Keeps me motivated....for those out there who are "embarrassed" of their income or afraid to put themselves out there just think about Emily and how many people she helps. You may know something or have your own way of budgeting that benefits someone else. You never know until you try.

Smalls Renewed Life, you can't get away with a cute budget planner as a male... SAYS WHO? If people are gonna judge you for having/liking pretty things, well tough on them, they can go fuck themselves. And if it's just you (e.g. you yourself won't feel "manly" enough) holding back yourself, then distance yourself for a moment from what society decided is manly or unmanly - at some point pink used to be considered manly and blue feminine, at another point men used to wear heels and wigs, frills and laces. If you want pretty notebook with stickers go for it! And it's not like you have to show it to everyone - make it for yourself!

I got a EC planner today, and I can't wait to start using it to plan my life and get out of debt! I love all your videos and I also used your code to order a few things from the EC website!

I have some savings goals but never really thought to put them on paper like that. I have the budget insert for my happy planner and I think I will incorporate something like this. I'm currently on Baby Step 1, and I feel weird having savings goals when I get to Baby Step 2. But they are legit expenses, like school fees, school books, etc. I'm about to get my washi tape ready! Thnks for the great video, I miss your daily vlogs... :)

How do you decide how much to put into savings? I am not debt free like you and I find it difficult to decide how much to allocate toward savings and how much to allocate for paying down debt. We are also hoping to buy our first home this year or early 2018.

Brittni I'm in no way a money guru but what works for us, is that whatever our excess amount left over is, we take 20% for savings and the rest divided across our debt to help bring it down faster, we've knocked out several outstanding bills doing this and soon the entire excess will be savings! Good luck with your journey!!

I'm curious, you said a "different kind of property". What kind of property are you looking for? So happy that your parents are helping you achieve your goals! I really enjoy your videos.

If you get paid a weekly amount of 650 why would your monthly be 1,300 and not 2,600 since there are 4 weeks in a month, right? I multiplied 650 X 4(weeks) and that's what I got. Just confused how you got 1,300. Sorry this may be so basic but just want to understand what I am missing. Thanks.

Emma Siegfried she's saving every other check. So the 650 times two of the four checks is 1300. 2600 is just her total monthly income

Emily I saw your figure, you get &650.00 a week that is more then $1300.00 a month, or 16,000...a year..I am confused about your savings I think you got the total wrong..

Donna Galvan I am saving $650 out of 26 pay checks (every other week) for the entire year. So $650 x 26 = $16,900.00. Hope this makes better sense. Sorry if my wording was confusing in the video.
