Yet, another classy, elegant car from RR. I've always been a fan of RR over Bentley. Not a thing wrong with Bentley, I just prefer the Rolls.

This is not a legitimate Rolls-Royce in anyway. I own, and have owned 12. All workers quit when Vickers turned over to BMW. There are only two parts from the real RR. The A/C outlets, and it should not count as the Germans made it smaller, is the hood ornament, or the Flying Lady. Many long time owners like myself refer to it as the DRAG QUEEN, as this rolling piece of crap is in Drag as a Rolls-Royce. Even the heart of the car is a BMW designed engine. Only purchase 1997 back. The rest for the most part is junk to 2002. Total crap after that.

It's pronounced, "Koo-Pae" (just as our "convertible" is pronounced "drop head" over the pond). Lovely, yet brief overview- much appreciated!

FYI We British do not call convertible cars 'drop-heads', we call them 'convertibles'. I believe that Rolls Royce used the term 'drop-head' to differentiate themselves and the Dawn from the many convertibles that are sold and driven in the UK.

The Radiator Shell like the real RR’s had is totally mistakable for this BMW fake RR, as this grill is not hand made by one person and welded from multiple pieces. It’s just a thin piece of stamped stainless steel surround by most likely plastic with the RR Logo probably affixed by glue. Extremely cheap looking interior as well. Not 4 different types of inlaid wood anymore. I own, and have owned many RR’s, but when the Dealer asked me to drive the first Phantom they received, I immediately replied I would never be seen driving a fake anything! The amazing thing is BMW is making these cars cheaper and uglier every year.

RIP RR 1904-1998 Gone, but will still be rolling on long after these German knock-offs will be at their soon to be resting place, a junkyard.

Maximum price for what is really a BMW should be no more than 100K. Also BMW no longer uses the totally hand built radiator shell. Now just a piece of stamped stainless surrounded by plastic or fifer. Disgustingly cheap looking, because it is.

Those cheap plastic buttons and levers and cover on the steering wheel and plastic stalks. Rolls-Royce automobiles died in March 1998. This car is nothing more than an overhyped and overpriced BMW 7 series.

Very true. I own, and have owned many genuine Rolls-Royces built in Crewe, United Kingdom, and can say, this is an absolute piece of junk. The genuine RR’s are appreciating while this disgusting thing is deprecating to almost nothing.

I own, and have owned many genuine RR’s. This fake is a cheap piece of rolling junk. Next year all models but the Phantom will be totally electric. The RR Dealers have admitted that is a huge mistake. I replied the entire car is a mistake.

What a joke!! Cheap looking interior with no inlaid wood. No hand sculptured radiator shell. Just a lot of plastic with a thin strip of stamped stainless glued or taped to the front of this very cheap looking radiator shell. Rolls-Royce ceased to exist when Vickers sold the name only for BMW to put on this thing they built. That in no way makes this a Rolls-Royce to anyone but a fool with no class. After the last Rolls-Royce was built in Crewe, United Kingdom, every employee immediately quit. RR had people employed that had generations of family that worked for RR when it was founded by Sir. Frederick Henry Royce in 1904. This fake RR doesn’t even have the rights to sell parts for genuine RR’s. You have to get them through Volkswagen, the fake Bentley owner. What a disaster the Germans made of this iconic name. Now it’s just a piece of rolling junk that is heading to its final resting place, a JUNKYARD!!

It looks just like a 300 now. LoL. I'd just buy the Chrysler and save the money.
