Great mix. The late 90s and early 00's were definitely a golden age for house music and this mix captures it perfectly. Glad I was in my 20s at the time - brings back many happy memories of crowded bars and big nights out.

I know! When everyone let themselves go and the music was actually good and you could talk to random people. I went out recently and it was so different, everyone too busy taking selfies or filming the DJ who was basically playing background undanceable music and everyone too scared to let loose in case a stranger films them having fun and it goes viral.

Im one of the Clubbers who love Frankie Knuckles, Clivilles & Cole, David Morales, Todd Edwards, K-Klass, Tuff Jam, Kerri Chandler, Steve Hurley, Stonebridge, Todd Terry etc, all of those, I still listen to that stuff & ironically there is younger people who do actually like it and say that house music is better than what is played, they are the next generation of true clubbers 😂👍🏾

i wish we'll see a change in music industry at the start of the 2020's, but it looks like we won't, because trap and reggaeton are dominating the music scene right now. I get it about reggaeton, it's catchy and it's good for dacing, but i don't get the trap thing, it only has a simple beat and someone is talking, not even singing properly and the lyrics do not have a meaning, it's mostly about sex, drugs and power....
