The full Drive & Sound / Tech Tour of the all-new 2016 / 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class T-Modell (Wagon) as the E 220 d delivering 194 hp and 400 Nm of torque (weight: 1780 kg). This is the engine and specs most business guys will drive in the next couple of years taking this E-Class as their company car. Maybe it's the soundproofing of the new E series but boy , the new 2.0 diesel does sound much much better than the 2.1 .Too bad there is not a biturbo option.

There is an option! E 300d ! Biturbo 245hp 500Nm ! Its the same Motor like the 220d but stronger. OM 654 D 20 SCR

Kein Mensch "braucht" eigentlich mehr Power als die 194 PS und 400 Nm. Ich persönlich habs auch gern zügiger, aber der Motor passt einfach super zum Auto. Weißt Du zufällig den Preis der von Dir getesteten E-Klasse?

Andreas Schmitz also ich bin letztes Wochenende nen E220d Automatik von Sixt gefahren und das Teil geht ab wie ne Rakete. 0-70 ca. 4 Sekunden, gefühlt 2. auf der Autobahn gehen 180 mit Leichtigkeit und es fühlt sich an wie 100 in nem Golf. Eigentlich würde ein E200d und ein E200 mit je 160PS als Motorenangebot mehr als ausreichen, mehr ist eigentlich schon fast krank.

+Black Gold Ja, haben so gut wie alle aktuellen Modelle bei Mercedes, wobei man nicht wirklich sieht das es "Fake" ist. Sogar besser gelöst hier, weil sie zu sind und man nicht wie bei einigen ändern Modellen auf Technik dahinter schaut.
je trouve que l'Audi A6 avant beaucoup plus attractive que l'actuelle E Class break, que pensez vous ?

Das Interieur hat wirklich eine sehr edle Anmutung. In dem Punkt ist Mercedes Audi in diesem Jahr deutlich überlegen. Leider ist die Optik von Außen genau wie C und S-Klasse einfach zu langweilig und für Nichtkenner kaum von den anderen Modellen zu unterscheiden. Ein Defizit, das mittlerweile fast alle Premiumhersteller aufweisen, aber Mercedes ist da definitiv Vorreiter.
Bis auf die großen, hässlichen Rückleuchten und die Digitalanzeigen gefällt mir die neue E-Klasse ganz gut :D

Best things: - Interior design - Screens and functions - Autonomous driving, other technology features - Performance for a heavy car Worst things: - Back design (shame) - Looks like C & S class, design is not attracting - Comfort issues (especially for runflat tyres) - Sound of engine, isolation of cabine

Ahmet Korkmaz The car is extremely quiet inside. The microphone of most devices used for recordings exaggerate every noise. It is extremely quiet in real person. You also don't have to opt for run flat tyres

Yes I know what you've said, but I listened some users, they said there are some serious tyre and wind noise issues while going over 160-170 km/h, I wrote it wrong, the isolation is not due to engine sound.

Just check the part where we drive 180 km/h in this video or our acceleration video up to 200 km/h. There is no significant tire noise...at least for this particular car. I found it very well isolated.

I havent driven E series yet, my comment is from what I heard and see until now. However, In our country road quality is not good, I've heard that sound isolation issue from two different automobile reviewer. By the way, 225/55/17 Runflat tyres are standard in our country, they were using car with that tyres. They also mentioned that W212 is more comfortable than this new one. I think I should drive that car asap. Thanks for your comments.
Rather get a Tesla Model 3 with full level 5 autonomous driving.

Scayeldnb ich finde auch das der digitale Tacho von mercedes nicht schön eingebunden ist. Bei Audi und VW ist das Display ja richtig in der "Tachoform" aber hier wirklich nur ein rechteckiges Ding drangeklebt.
