@@henrysniper8481 Longer wheel base, door opens same as in rolls Royce In 2018 they released 80 units commemorating 80 years of Lincoln (if I am not mistaken) These were editions but they did say will release multiple every year but they stopped producing the continental

Go,Go ,Gadget Everything. But it's still no match for the Cadillac CTS-V ! Lincoln needs to get back to what Lincoln was in the beginning......Gangsta Elegance ,Luxury and an Abundance Of Power ! That is what Rivals Cadillac!

Good thing its competition is/was the Cadillac XTS, right?

I currently own its competitor, the Cadillac XTS of the same model year, and rented a Continental of that year. Here's my opinion on it. Neither car will confuse you with any sport sedan. But the Cadillac has a decidedly more firm ride, with aggressive (and expensive!) all season sport tires that hold the road well. Its handling drawbacks are that the transmission is lazy during aggressive driving, and its suspension isn't up to managing the car's body motions in locations where the road turns more than once. However give it one looking curve, the tires will hold the road and the car will corner flatly at speed. I did 80mph taking the sweeping curves of I49 in Missouri. The Cadillac held the road very well. The Lincoln Continental I rented in the other hand. Was a mess to handle. This Lincoln had what had to be summer rated tires. So they held the road, but its suspension was tuned so soft, you'd think that Lincoln was trying to recreate the ride of its 1998 Towncar, and I'd say it nearly succeeded in that regard. Its ride was VERY floaty. Almost TOO Floaty. To the point that even long, sweeping curves upset the car if taken too fast. The upside to such lazy handling is that the ride was VERY Towncar-esque. If I had a preference, it would be for the Cadillac. I prefer the ride of sport sedans, and for me, the Cadillac XTS comes closest in that regard.
