In this video, Charles gives a Quicklook at the 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. This specific package is called the Blacktop Edition. So, you'll notice that it looks a little different than the other packages. It has two tone gloss and machined finished aluminum alloy wheels. It has a gloss black grill insert rather than chrome, and the rooftop rails have also been deleted to give it more of a sleek look.
This package is also the SE Plus. It gives you additional comfort and convenience features over the SE package.
Under the hood you'll see a 3.6L V6 matted up against a 6 speed automatic transmission. The Pentastar V6 is a tried and true motor that has earned a highly regarded reputation.
The SE Plus comes with Dual Zone Climate Control, color touch screen monitor, backup camera, hands free bluetooth, steering wheel radio controls, an auto dimming rear view mirror and stow and go seating.
The Caravan is known for its Stow and Go seating. You can quickly and easily tuck away the seats with just the touch of a lever. The third row can be tucked away just as easily. So, you can very quickly convert it into a Cargo van when you need.

Gotta love these stripped-down basic vans, nothing fancy, which means nothing will break. These things will last you a lifetime.
I love them rims. I had both a 2002 and 2006 with aluminum wheels, I eye these! love it!

You call it a "grocery getter" and people view it as a soccor mom mobile, but what's surprising is the Grand Caravan actually has about the same and sometimes MORE payload capacity (GVWR minus Curb Weight) than some configurations of the Dodge Ram 1500s.

Power sliding liftgate? that's new. does the liftgate power slide up and over the top?

Thats not new. Both my 2002 and 2006 had these features as does my current 2008 model.
You FORGOT TO TELL PEOPLE ONE STEP ON THE STOW AND GO !!! You must put the front seats forward to get the back seats in the folded position

I have a 2017 caravan GT I average around town 14.6 mpg and on trips I get 23-25.7 mpg
I would like it more if it had a V8 engine like a 4.7 or the 5.2. 318.
The Pentastar is a new and virtually untested engine, so how can you claim that it is durable when it hasn't even been around for 10 years?
