2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L Air Filter Replacement

2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L Air Filter Replacement. It has been difficult finding the air filter at Autozone because it is a new car. The filters are recommended to be changed every 20000 miles. I replaced mine at 30,000 and that seemed sufficient. I vacuumed out the small dirt and rocks at the bottom of the air box.
The Chrysler part number is 68214516AA and costs $33.00 through the Chrysler Dealership and Mopar. I found them on ebay from Mopar for about $22 with free shipping.

Great video. I personally would skip disconnecting the sensor and also skip loosening the clamp. You can remove the filter by just loosening the two screws. It's tight but not hard and I've done it without damaging anything.

I’ve done it that method as well. Have to torque that cover out of the way a bit but it works. However if you want to vacuum and clean up a bit you’d need to remove the whole assembly.

Just did this today and had a hard time feeling good about the fit of the lid after putting it back on because it pushes/sits right on the base... I'm guessing it's the flex tubing going into the intake pushing it right, but didn't feel like it seats nicely and then you can tighten it down.

You idiot. If there's a gap it's like you have no filter

Squeeze and pull... Man, so many weird connectors on these vehicles and I can never figure them out. Here I was prying on the gray part and cussing like a sailor.
