thanks this was perfect. My father has dementia and we had to literally take his keys away. turns out his battery on the Key Fob was running low. A video straight to the point, awesome job man

Took me a minute to get the fob open and it didn’t work as easy with the key lol. I pried it open with my fingers and it came apart. Same concept but, thank you either way and it’s now changed 🙏

Thanks it worked however everytime I lifted the cover with a small flat screwdriver, I kept lifting the cover with the circuit board exposed. So I lifted it out (the circuit board) with a small precision screw driver then placed the circuit board on the table so that I could access the battery in the base underneath it. I then put everything back where they belong including the new battery. It works well.
