Got mine yesterday. I added quarter inch rubber grommets and had to use two on each hole. Trimmed one side of each grommet so they would meet in the middle. Thanks for your video. I had not seen this mod before.

Thank you so much for the tutorial on the running board lights. I ran out to take a look under my ‘15 SD and sure enough there were the plug ins! Took me all of a 1/2 hr to hook them up and they work great. Thanks for the tips and links. You ROCK!!

I didn't see on my 2020 F150 XLT 😢😢😢

Thanks for video. I have these on a 2013 F150 but had to do a lot more to get the lights to work with the doors. I have a 2020 F250 that I'm doing as soon as the Metra Harnesses come in. By the way the plug that you're plugging into can be moved up a little higher unpinning it from the frame about six inches back. Thanks brother and keep em coming.

Wow. I bought my F-250 with the basic package: no backup sensors, no remote start, no tailgate ladder, no rear sliding window, etc. I was shocked to find the plug under the back door! Can't wait to try this! Thanks for an excellent video.

You checking it with the door open? And it has to be open for just a little bit or it looses power if opened to long. If not, it’s got to be the fuse. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

@@COLTSWAY I was attempting to use these 1/2” plastic connectors that have a round metal insert inside. It only worked when I directly connected both wires and used electrical tape. No one will see that anyway. THE LIGHTS ARE AWESOME!! Thanks again for a great video.

Nice job Man! BTW, the plugs are for the power step rails if you chose that option. Also, when you cut the light strip tape, use the end cap from the end that you cut off to cap your strip. Colt's way is cool man!

Good find. For guys that don’t have the led bed lights from the factory that would be a great place to tap in for the power. I do have the bed lights but wish they turned on with the door open/unlock lighting since I have a tonneau cover and can’t see shit at night lol.👍🏼

When I do a egr unplug do I need to flash the tune first to make sure the egr valve is closed before I unplug it? I’m doin a dpf delete with a race pipe and I have the Bullydog BDX delete tuner. I’ve got the egr delete plate kit but if I don’t have to remove the egr I won’t. Thanks

The tune should shut the valve so it can’t be opened. If it’s a delete tune it should have that wrote in it. So I just unplugged. 🇺🇸

Another great mod once again. But have a question on the tuner and the change from NGuage to EZLink. I kinda was leaning towards the NGuage why the change was it due to the different tunes? Chaos vs Proven what’s the difference?

Well if I ever needed anything or any help with nguage I’m a sitting duck. It’s great for what it is but if I need a revision Someone has to email it to me then I have to download it to a sad card and the put it on the nguage. With ezlynk everything is instant and right over the cloud. There’s so many more options and tunes to pick. And you can monitor so much more with it then with the nguage. Plus I hear they stopped making nguage so like it’s just obsolete. Plus my tunes sucked. I had chaos and I can tell you even 59 miles in the new tunes proven is hands down miles ahead. Cleaner just everything feels so much better. The transmission tuning is on point as well. 🇺🇸

@@COLTSWAY Okay, I checked the area on my F450 where you put your strip lights, unfortunately there is a rubber strip there on my King Ranch 450. I guess for further sound insulation. Darn it, I like the more light output from your strips versus my mirror puddle lights. I was hoping I could do both.

I got a 2020 F350 this spring and have been trying to figure out what the plate is on the drivers side of the frame just in front of the rear tire, just behind the wire harness you plugged into. Anyone know?

Hey brother, yes they are the stock lariat sport wheels. I’m running 37x13.50x20. They rub the radius arms at about 90 percent turn. But it’s never made it where I can get into a spot or anything. If I gotta turn sharp, I just let it eat. I was running 2.5 readylift with track bar relocation bracket for the last year and a half. Then after I put my winch and bumper on I added another 1 inch spacer on the bottom of my springs cause the bumper and winch sagged it a little. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment. Good information. Important note ........ The plug you buy from Amazon says, on the package, that the white wire is positive. In this application, the white wire is negative. Spent an hour trying to figure why my lights did not work. Also, In order to fit into the factory plug, you'll need to slightly shave each side of the Amazon plug. I did like Colt's video except for his reference to Putin's house boy.

Bad ass. So simple but we need those. I have the same rig. Good job

@@COLTSWAY hahaha I’ve always loved the king ranch’s. Ford is proud of em too! So I bought mine used last year, it’s a 17 and had little over 100,000 miles. I traded my 13 250 6.7 2wd for this one, was missing my 4wd. And got it just in time with all the snow and ice we’ve had in central Tx. I was helping folks out of ditches and up the hills left and right.

Was it the metro 72-5600 do u remember, Amazon says doesn’t fit the 2019 but I know 17 thru 19 are the same

Wish I would have seen this when it was warmer out! Think there will be any issue with light strip sticking well in 30 degree weather as long as I clean surface good and use that gorilla glue as well?
