Most rivalry games have, over their long histories, developed a moniker that they are known by. Iron Bowl, The Big Game, etc. In the rivalry between the two largest universities in Tennessee, they got nothing. This is the 111th time that Tennessee has played Vanderbilt and there is no catchy phrase, no label of emotion, not even a trophy. This is the rivalry that time forgot; probably because Tennessee has dominated but I think it should have a name or at least a trophy! The Vol-Dore Trophy? The Moonshine game? I don't know. It's Senior night in Nashville and the Commodores have a chance to qualify for a bowl game with a win while Tennessee can secure a Sugar Bowl berth with a victory.
