Depends on the driving. From sth like 5.7l/100km - 10 l . Much freeway more fuel consumption. Normally I drive it around 7L and still.having fun doing so! :) Great great car. Amazing engine capable of everything

Ça ne craint pas pour le moteur qui a seulement 2500 km de lui mettre la misère comme ça ? En plus de l embrayage bien sur ! En tout cas beau kart !

Il aurait été préférable de la faire chauffer, car pour avoir une efficacité optimum l'huile doit être chaude ( idem pour l'huile de boîte). À part ça, elle est plutôt jolie.

this terrible start... u shoudl know that starting from higher rpm with tire slide its MUCH MORE slower than normal start.... u not good driver so better dont turn off ther ESP and ASR system :)

Just bought one in white on a 2016 with the black alloys. Great for normal every day driving around town and joyful around fast county roads

Nice car! Have you had any issues with the engine timing? I had a 207 GT and had the infamous "death rattle" but it's not clear whether Peugeot has addressed this issue with the 208 gti engine.

If you're still interested , the 200 and 208 THP engines dont have this problem any more. Sometimes ok, but very very rare. the THP 155 (156) is terrible. they have timing chain probs every 20k km .. i drive 1 myself ( 208 GTI 200 THP ) and i am in Love. Got some mods ( 237 bhp and 345 Nm torque) It's a beast! :)

C'est comme ça qu'on défonce aussi a vitesse grand V un embrayage et la buté, j'ai une 308 GTI et une 208 GT-line 1.2 THP 110 et jamais je ferais ça pauvre 208 :-(

Alors juste pour info il n'y a pas de launch control sur la 208 Gti et même sur la 308 Gti, c'est la clio RS et la mégane RS de chez Renault qui la possède étant donné que c'est une auto . Peugeot sont plus sur des boites manuelle et a l’heure actuelle il n'existe pas de boîte auto sur la gamme sport de chez PSA Je suis un adepte de Peugeot et sais ce qui existe et ce qui n'existe pas mais dans tout les cas celui qui est au volant de la 208 GTi sur la vidéo fait ABSOLUMENT N'IMPORTE QUOI AU DÉMARRAGE !! Et pour conclure j'ai conduit ces véhicules et en possédé même une .

Merci! J'ai supprimé mon com' vu qu'il est plus pertinent du coup xd, je savais pas que peugeot ne sortais pas avec, vu que la clio si j'ai fait l'assomption haha ! En tout cas (sauf erreur de ma part) les pneus ont quand même l'air d'être sacrément fin et rigide, pas l'idéal pour les départ à 4000 rpm du coup. Je suis encore un néophyte donc merci encore pour la précision !

Tu peux mettre n'importe quels pneux, un lâché d'embrayage aussi violent à ce régime avec je suppose le pied au plancher dès le lâché d'embrayage se traduira forcément par du patinage, il faut penser qu'il demande aux roues un 0-60 en moins d'une seconde .... faut pas espérer que ça passe au sol, surtout avec le couple disponible sur le THP ... Dans tous les cas, c'est ultra violent pour la mécanique et complètement inutile, il vaut mieux relâcher l'embrayage rapidement mais sans à coups brusques que de faire patiner les roues comme ça et massacrer embrayage+boite+trans, ce qui ne sera jamais plus rapide ... en général, la première monte c'est soit du Michelin Pilot Exalto soit du Michelin Pilot sport sur les 208 Gti, c'est déjà pas de la merde ;) La finesse ( peu de flancs) c'est bien, ça donne un meilleur ressenti de la route ( au détriment du confort), idem pour la rigidité, ce qui fait la qualité de la motricité, c'est la dureté de la gomme et la surface en contact avec la route.

Pas de soucis après concernant les pneu de la gti se sont des Michelin pilots sport de 17 pouces et 18 pour la BPS dont je ne sais plus combien vu qu'il y a aussi d'autres version . .

How not to launch a manual transmission.

Je ne comprendrais jamais les accélérations effectuées en arrachant tout (Pneus + embrayage.) D'après le temps indiqué (1:30 >>> 1:37), on est sur plus de 7 secondes pour un 0 à 100km/ compteur... Hors elle est donnée pour 6.5s constructeur et 6.7s pour un 0 a 100 réel par les journalistes essayeurs. Lorsque je faisais des runs, je savais que le patinage des roues me faisait perdre de précieux dixièmes de secondes...Je faisais tout pour être le plus propre possible.

Que no os engañen las marcas,,,el rodaje de un motor puede llegar hasta los 10 o 15mil kilometros recorridos para que todas sus partes móviles se hayan ajustado. I think it probably got confused since he rev'd ir so hight before dumping the clutch. It shows 49 km/h immediately after he dropped the clutch, the car probably hasn't really started moving at that point. And when it reaches 60 the speed drops which also indicates some issue with what was displayed in my opinion

La phase 1 etait vendu pour 200cv mais elle avait en realité 185cv dans le meilleur des cas. Certaine ne sortais pas plus de 175cv. Ca fait plus de 20cv de difference avec la 208cv. Et vu le passif, autant la 208cv n'as même pas 208cv non plus...

@@JimmyGrimaud je sais pas combien fait la 208 ch les plus basse mesure sont au alentour de 195 ch pour la phase effectivement j ai déjà vu du 175 ch mais il y a aussi la boite qui est étayée plus courte sur la 208 ch ce qui fait qu' au final y a un ecart

C'est sur que si tu ne prend pas en compte le fait que le compteur à un temps de latence avant d'afficher autre chose que 0kmh, tu va trouver qu'elle a des perf incroyable. Elle fait 7secondes de 0-100kmh, ce qui n'est franchement pas terrible pour une voiture "sportive"

No offence but you lost quite a bit of time in the wheel spinning, making 0-100 in 7 second which it's what the less powerful version does.

audi power 309 gti 16s une vrai gti certe pas de pb la dessus mais en perf pure y a pas photos 309 0 200 42 s , 208 gti 27s avec patinage mode boucher au demarrage ce qui doit approcher des 25s si bien géré au demarrage bref un boulevard .....

U know that isnt temperature of engine or oil...? engine can be heat like it is, later u have 95deggrees, so oil and engine temperature is good, coolant temperature is little high :) ppl u dont know much about cars :/

I have a 2000 Peugeot 206 just within a little bit slower it can reach 215 KM/h real easy with a 1.4Lit 4Cyl naturally aspirated engine! Peugeot were always good but little underrated!!

It depends on the gearbox. He timed the shifts wrong, hence the lag.
