2016 MINI JCW (231hp) - pure SOUND (60FPS)
Finally, there it is, the first "pure SOUND" clip with my all-new 2015 / 2016 MINI John Cooper Works being the featured "Automann-Car" for the next year or so. This new F56 JCW is 100% stock and delivers 231 hp & 320 Nm or torque out of a (BMW) 2.0 TwinPower Turbo. As the car now has around 4.000 km on the clock you can be ensured that the exhaust system is open and run in. Through the first 2.000 km you could really hear how the exhaust note got deeper and louder day by day. It has received the full volume after I did my final run-in-phase on the Autobahn with around 3.000 km. As you might have followed on Facebook and G+, there is a JCW Pro-Exhaust coming that will be fitted on this car in late September. It's a similar exhaust as out of the Mini Cooper S Tuning Kit, but as I just learned, not the same. The main advantage is that you can open and close the valve and therefore play with the exhaust volume a lot more. Anyhow, this is a very good stock exhaust system that already sticks out from any Golf R, Audi S3 or so. Standard exhaust sounds awesome. Happy with mine. No need for the pro exhaust really, especially for the price it costs.

Chris Tann It indeed sounds very very good, of course even better in real-life. After I drove the car for a few weeks I also thought if it would be still necessary to upgrade to the Pro Exhaust. I will still do it just to try it out and to give everybody the right advise on how different the exhaust notes are and maybe the Pro exhaust also has some disadvantages....I will find it out:)

@Gibbon I just realized that you're telling this guy that this is the JCW Pro exhaust. It's not, it's the stock JCW exhaust. The JCW Pro exhaust is much louder and has way more frequent pops and bangs, and it mostly comes fitted with a carbon fiber tip.
I buy this car today in black cabrio JCW and now waiting for the livery and than have fun.

Hey I'd like to apoligise! I once commented something like "Most of your videos are no talking" The first few videos I watched were from that tesla, and in that video, they are (for what I've seen so far) the only video where they talk. Good videos man! I can't wait to see that AMG GTS

TheFloaw An sich schon, die Klappe ist auf jeden Fall immer offen und mal will ja auch was hören. Fahren allerdings viel Langstrecke so dass sich der Verbrauch immer in Grenzen hält. Auf der Landstraße kann man den auch mit 6.5 Liter fahren, ist schon sehr sparsam wenn man die Leistung nicht ständig fordert.

i cant decide wheter should i take, and how does i know if one is F56 or f55, 2014, 2015 or 2016 ? i believe the sales arent saying the truth.. she keeps me left uninforment.. and for the advice, which one should i take based on fair judgment, the Cooper S JCW tuning kit, or the MINI JCW. and my main concern is the MINI in my country come in package.. the MINI JCW have HUD while the JCW tuning kit doesnt have.

f56 is 2 door and f55 is 4 door and when you take a Cooper S you automatically have the jcw tuning kit

***** Yes, for sure everything around this new JCW will be documented. The "Pro Exhaust" is an active valve exhaust which you order from MINI, but its not in the standard price page, you need to order it through parts.

Get the manual gear box, it will be better. R53 sounds much nicer , with a Magnaflow cat back, 17% reduction, larger Airtec intercooler and BCR8ES plugs. Very nice. 😜
