It is Gfriend's fandom name~ Since GFriend = *Girlfriend* meaning they may be friends to girls and they my have a girlfriend like image to boys. Meanwhile *Buddy* is another way to call a friend. Or implementing that we are friendly and welcoming. PS. Sorry I'm not very good in English and I also tried to explain my understanding of the term hehe :3

How can anyone hate them? Because they're not the conventional visual?
