What a relief to find you guys , and *Canadian too! After searching intensively and researching sawmills for the last few weeks, I finally find this. I am so happy, because, previously to this, it seemed my options for a solid unit were limited and cost prohibitive. A sawmill is in my short term plans, but most I have seen were $10,000 + or, if less, often looked sketchy. Your sawmill is so well designed and visually pleasing. It seems to have a proper balance between function and aesthetics (not bad to look at at all, unlike some) and your engineering seems to be perfect, i.e. nothing is overly done, but sufficient. For now, this issue is resolved for me when the time is right, thanks Woodland! *never been more important to shop Canadian, because of our dollar. Canadians en mass should be choosing you and your products, and this is not to mention that this works for you selling to USA also. Good Luck.
I just ordered my mill, can't wait to get it set up and start cutting!!
Just purchased my HM126 today , very excited !
Great sawmill. Can't wait to own one.
Great lil set up & at a very reasonable price too ! ! !
Fantastic vid all the way around. I’m sold. Thanks
What a machine! Would purchase one in a heartbeat if budget allowed. Maybe one day.
Most impressive things to me about the HM126 is how smoothly it cut the wood without any chattering and how smooth the wood was itself with very little saw marks, if any.
Love it! You should be hearing from me soon.
Love our HM130. One step I always do that I did not see you do in the first 10 min or so of watching the video is I crank up the mill head at the end of the cut so I do not drag the blade back touching wood.
I like the snap-lock feature. I get a lot of use out of my Woodland HM126 and the snap-lock feature looks like it would make for a nice time-saving upgrade to the original threaded locks. I'll be ordering a set with my next maintenance kit.

Sweet machine, very portable, easily moved in the back of a pickup, nice cuts, excellent investment.
The machine runs well, I can see your enjoying your self the sawmills are good value for your money
Impressive!
Very nice log you were cutting and great work thank you for the video.
Man I really want one of these. I'm sure for the right price I can! Just need to start saving up...
very good machine
Its good very nice machine
wow, very Nice... When you cut that thin veneer cherry , YOU had me...LOL
I counted 28-30 seconds for each cut for an 8" wide plank. That´s quite good. The narrower the plank the faster the cut! Is there a mechanism keeping the blade wet? I liked that!
super

I'm interested in milling mesquite that is very hard, but I'm concerned that the blade will be shot right away. Any experience with mesquite, or similar hardwood?

Hi Louis, many of our customers mill mesquite and other hardwood with our standard Lenox C sharp blades. A clean log and sharpening your blade after 2-4 hours of milling hours should provide you with good longevity for your blade life. We also carry a 3/4 Lenox blade that is designed for extremely hard and exotic wood.
How much does each rotation of the crank bring down the saw?

Hi Gary, You can mill a cant and use a wedge under one side, then remove the wedge for the next cut. It makes beautiful lap siding. Any questions please email sales@woodlandmills.com

The customer has a choice on our HM126 sawmill model between the 9.5HP or 14HP recoil start 4-cycle Kohler gas/petrol engine. They feature a slant cylinder design with a cast iron cylinder bore and an overhead valve for easy access. Also the Quad-Clean 4-stage air filtration system ensures only clean air enters the engine for maximum power and life of the engine. Attached to the engine is an industrial centrifugal clutch system for easy gas-and-go operation. Backed by a 3-year Kohler commercial warranty.

HEY . Don't do that yet. divide the small end by the large end to get a average Shim the log . you get more boards.nice mill. 2016 SEE now the big end is smaller than the little end
i own the dinosaur model of this unit, the powerhead/saw is heavy. i can move it by myself as i am gifted in miracles of things like that, call it the bumble-bee syndrome, i did not know i could not. how on earth do you call this a portable sawmill given its weight and size? by the way, i love mine and you can take it when you pay me about 40 times what i paid. it aint going nowhere....i'm happy with it
