The reliance on a net looks so ridiculous at this level of fishing competition. Get the freaking fish in the boat with a swing or land it with your hands. B.A.S.S. does it right.

We like nets. One of the things they are best at is keeping fish and anglers safe.

Cole Park I hear ya. I feel that I would change it up as well or if I would've stayed i would have danced a spoon. im gong to Pickwick next weekend. I hear its a tough bite up there. my plans are long worms. chunky jigs, chatter baits and if we go shallow and find logs...my favorite...froggin.

It wasn't a smallmouth that he threw back. It was a drum. I think he was joking because drums have really small mouths.
