I have one almost identical to this one except mine is pearl tricoat and a few more options. I go pick it up at end of month. Best truck to buy hands down, this will be my 12th one.

all these people hating on chevy for allegedly having shitty motors and a lot of recalls but as I recall ford still has the most maybe second most recalls in automotive history not saying gm doesnt have its fair share of there own but not near as bad or as abundant as some other companies. This is coming from someone who has to get ignition fixed in my 03 impala will I probably not because i trust this brand and im not someone who has a shit load of weight on my key ring at least i know my car can sit over night without starting on fire

I don't think he's equating recalls to number of vehicles effected. For example, if 2 Silverados get recalled for the same thing, that's 1 recall due to 1 issue. Recall = To address 1 issue. If 1 F-150 is recalled for 2 issues, that means Ford has ordered 2 recalls on 2 different things in the truck.. Therefore, that F-150 would have 2 recalls on it. With that said, it doesn't matter how many vehicles you have sold, if you have multiple recalls on a model (stereo, gas tank, brake system, etc) that model is bad.

Cory R I had one recall on a 2014 . Buddy had same recall on a 2016. 10 minute fix that wasn’t a big deal. So shut it

I have the identical truck,also in summit white, but a 2012. I am starting to think about a new one. I love this truck but am a little disappointed at the fact that there are almost no new features in the last 4 years. I really like the Chevys but I have to admit the new fords have more new features.... Like a moonroof, hidden led lights in the interior that you can set to any color...etc

If I'm not mistaken, in order to engage the locking rear differential on today's Fords, use have to press a button. Not automatic like the Chevy's and GM. I understand with the Ford Raptor, there's no locking differential mode in 2H.

I'm thinks of buying this used truck like that.

So no push Botton start? Why can't they give people an option. I understand some people like using a key but Mercedes gives people the option to use key or push button by using a cover that goes over the key slot. For me it's just very convenient to not have to dig for a key. This truck makes you carry two keys on top of that.

Just bought a new 2016 silverado. That small square device above the drivers head is not a blue tooth mic. Every dealer person that i talked to said that is an climate control asperator. No one knew what they do or how they work. Go figure.

That is not a spray in bedliner. It's a regular bed liner just cleaner install as they are specifically made for it.

Luis Guzman I commented that because I have one of these and the box does not have a chevy symbol in them so they would have had to add that on just this truck as others dont have it.

Wow, You review a Truck you were trying to sell, but you blew off all of the key upgrades that come with the more expensive variant you are reviewing. It is called carbon fiber, not kewl pattern. It also is part of the Z71 package trim, along with the "carbon fiber" instrument cluster with the Z71 badge. As you fumbled through the menu, you totally blew off the off-road page, which is great for the 4x4/Z71 trucks. You did mention the wheels but totally neglected to mention the off-road suspension for the Z71. Never mentioned the powered rear window or the remote locking tailgate that comes with package. I understand that this is a 5 year old video, but it did just pop into my recommendations and had to comment on it. Of course I am not telling anybody anything that they haven't had 5 years to figure out, I just laughed at the thought of this guy being a salesman who doesn't know how to hype key features on his vehicles. As for just selling a Chevy truck, pretty informative.

Thank you for your feedback. I do not sell vehicles nor do I work at a dealership. I try to avoid calling something 'carbon fiber' unless I know for sure it is real. It rarely is. I was very limited on time... a vehicle like this usually takes about 45 min to an hour video to go into everything properly. I never owned an 8ft bed. If I used the truck to haul cargo day in and day maybe. But try and park one of those beasts in today's parking lots designed for Priuses.
