The speedometer goes up to 160 so if you want to go into either Canada or Mexico, you can easily change in the driver info centre from US to Metric readouts. 160km/h =100mph Here in the North, everything is Metric standard and almost all bilingual. I have this car, and my speedometer runs up to 260. 160mph = 260km/h Also on the infotainment screen settings, you can switch between English, French, and Spanish.

Loved the look at the advancing undercarriage of the car at the beginning. This is the best detailed explanation of what is on the new redesigned 2016 Chevy Malibu Premier 2LZ that I have seen anywhere...great presentation!

Ive gotta say , ive been watching a ton of car video on youtube and I have never seen a car video start with a Star Warsesque shot underneath like that. Awesome !! This looks like a great car. I only wish it came in coupe form and had AWD. Love the turbo

Nice review of a very nicely redesigned Chevy Malibu:) It has a nice quality look to it. We had rented a Chevy Cruze in 2014 and it was a very nice little car, and it didn't fail to deliver even in the extreme Desert heat of 115F in Arizona!:)

This is a big improvement for 2016. Seats are super comfortable. I think Chevy has moved in the right direction by lowering the weight of these cars and offering improved fuel economy.

I think of buy the 16' Chevrolet Malibu sedan.

bought mine 9 weeks ago, 7 weeks in dealership on repairs. First the Sunroof didnt work. Now the Mylink system is not recognizing the USB ports. so Apple Car Play does not work. 6 times in the dealer to fix it not yet a solution. If chevy is aiming for midsize customers should consider the level of quality we expect is like a VW or audi at minimum. If not they can continue wrestling in the small car segment with the aveos and others. Or just make this again another rental car that doesn't spent enough time with the customer to disappoint him like me

Road noise for one. Whenever a car maker says they lowered the road noise 22%, you know that BS. Its loud. But i blast my radio, btw the head unit is really clunky. There is a really bad glare from the windshield. Ive never seen a car with so much glare. The power just isnt there when you need it.

+sunburnt chicken : More than likely there is no CD player, it's the trend in auto entertainment now to do aux input and Bluetooth streaming. Auto makers are more than happy to save money by ditching functionality if customer demand is low. The fact that "Mike" fails to notice this is the second reason I've found (in a very incomplete viewing) to distrust his acumen in reviewing automobiles. This was my first and only visit, I won't be coming back.

Projector headlamp is halogen? Why? I thought we were in 2016. Sorry, I am sticking with Honda, Toyota, and Nissan. You do get used to all the visibility LED head beams offer since my current car is that 2014 Corolla I can't see nothing with halogen bulbs.

Most Honda, Toyota, and Nissan vehicles have halogen lights as well. While halogen bulbs are still a good choice the owner can still change the bulbs to whatever they want.

This is the first Chevy in a long long time I would consider buying if it wasn't for the designers' admission they used thinner gauge metal to achieve the light weight and you can't put anything but tiny turbo motors in the bay due to the thin metal gauge. To me that is just lazy engineering.

I like my 2016 malibu limited ltz better than this it has a strut type hood that goes up and that has a cheap ass hood prop what gives common gm mines better equipment than this piece of shit

What an ugly car. I can't believe they actually went backwards with the engines. Also, why aren't HID's/ LED's standard? In a time when people are paying out the ass for electronic safety features, why exclude something as simple as better lighting? In my opinion, this is a car to make the consumer resent the brand.
