2016 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony: Seth MacFarlane Opening

The 2016 Breakthrough Prize ceremony was held November 8, 2015 at NASA’s Hangar 1 in Mountain View, California. Host Seth MacFarlane was joined by Christina Aguilera, Russell Crowe, Kate Hudson, Hilary Swank, Lily Collins, Thomas Middleditch and Martin Starr, who presented the Breakthrough Prizes alongside Silicon Valley's Sundar Pinchai, Drew Houston, Jan Koum, and prize founders Anne Wojcicki, Sergey Brin, Mark Zuckerberg, Yuri Milner and Jack Ma from China. During the show, Pharrell Williams performed “Freedom” before an audience that included leading figures from the worlds of technology, business, entertainment and academia. The event was produced by Vanity Fair and Don Mischer Productions. The show was broadcast live on National Geographic channel and later on Fox and National Geographic channels worldwide.

Youre not stupid, maybe lazy. You can do whatever you wanna do if you have passion for it and time, sometimes it takes years to realize what moves you. Anyway, you dont need to be a scientist to change the world for future generations, you can be many more things like an engineer, a decent, loving and not greedy entrepeneur like Elon Musk who will inspire future generations or even just by trying to improve yourself as a person, finding the most optimal way to live so others can see it works and copy it, even being a loving caring person is helpful, everything you do has chain reactions that will never stop, what you do today might mean the world in "x" years even if its a little thing.
I swear his voice sounds just like Brian from Family Guy.

Edward Collins it's not weird. We have an administration that denies science and it will be detrimental to our country. It needs to be called out.
Sorry Seth, climate changes and man has NOTHING to do with it. You talk about the scientific method and yet no where in that method does "consensus" play any role what so ever.

I know that your comment is 5 year old, but you are wrong dude...I study Earth and natural sciences in the UNI , one of the PhD's showed us in class that we are the cause for climate changes and it has a lot of facts like the increase in CO2 pollutants in the air or O3, and that increase is 5x times bigger then the "Natrual" global warming that is accuring every now and then (ice ages).
