Great job Thomas. I thought the precision clicking of the dial was a small, but impressive demonstration of the engineering and build quality objectives that Audi has achieved. Most presenters wouldn't have noticed that - well done. Also, thank you presenting in English, your perspective as a German is interesting and very fair, regardless of the country's origin of the reviewed auto.

As always, Audi did a good job on improving this generation over the last. MBQ is working very well. This S4 is so much bigger than 10 years ago. I hope that the ride quality has is just as fun as the current.

yup, I've been looking on audi.de for months to build one and nothing. and I heard they also delayed the RS4 for 2017. this seems a waste of time since M and AMG launch their fastest models much earlier in the cars life span.

+calvinm “Cal” 213 For whatever it's worth, Motortrend managed 4.4s with the previous generation S4 with the automatic transmission. The new one will have 20+ more hp, 40+lb-ft more torque and claimed curb weight of over 200lb lighter. I'm guessing low 4 seconds is realistic.

+Beef Broth 354hp is to satisfy North American guidelines, taxes, so many factors. The previous S4 had closer to 380hp and 380 torque, 330 at the wheels. I suspect this car will be a 400hp car. For 55k base model, you can have performance and luxury similar to cars 2x the price

Mid-sized Sedan, not Middle Class. Audi is a premium brand and it doesn't match with this rating. It was probably a translation issue from German, nice going anyway for your great reviews, keep up the good work!

+Autogefühl In the US (american English) it is segmented by Small or Company, Midsize or Large Cars. Middle Class is associate with family income. If you mentioned middle class car, you are indicating the car is marketed towards a middle class income profile, not the size of the car. Camry, Accord, Altima, Fusion, are examples of middle class cars - not Audi.

+faris s heh. Definitely the Audi, absolutely no doubt. Looks and feels so more high class to me

This car is a little bit frustrating in that they've made so many improvements, overhauling everything "under the skin" but then leave the exterior hardly changed, especially since the last A4 was around forever. Yes they made small changes, but it just feels like they really struggled to give "birth" to this one. I could just see the board room of grumpy old men grimacing and saying nein to anything more adventurous. I suppose their opinion of adventurous is wearing boxer shorts with with big red hearts on them. Do you know when the allroad will be available Thomas?? You must still be at the Frankfurt show, go tackle one of those Audi guys and ask!! (As an aside Thomas, is it possible to also convert your videos to regular 720p i.e. 24/30/60 frame compatibility? 50 is PAL only and it doesn't play here in NA. If it's a hassle, don't bother. Sorry I'm a camera person in the film industry and tend to get grumpy when I can't see higher res!)

These formats are based on our respective alternating current electricity. You are 220v/50 hertz and we are 120v/60 hertz. As a result, NA feature films are shot 24fps and TVs use 30p/60 while you guys use 25fps and 50p. All these crazy conversions because nobody wanted to agree to a common standard. (To be clear, technically 220/50hertz is a more efficient system to carry energy. You Germans got it right. ;) ) 720p and 1080p are based on our NA standard. Don't get me started talking about light flicker!!

+Autogefühl I watch all your videos from Canada, right now on this video the highest option that I can pick is 1080 at 50p. Considering you are from Europe and use the PAL video standard 1080 at 50p is exactly how it should be. The confusion for some users comes from the fact that in North America we use the NTSC standard that plays 1080 at 60p, so when they see 50p they think something is wrong, meanwhile; it is just a difference in video standards. Love your videos, you guys are my favourite auto blog on KZread. Keep on being awesome.

Mister Thomas, my opinion: In general the car looks very beautiful but, I hope Audi doesn't start to compete with Lexus for the "worst front grill on the market". It's a shame you spent so much time talking about the seats. I understand that it's impossible to do a proper review in a car show, but almost half the video was about the car's seat. I'm not criticizing, you do excellent reviews, but I thing you could have given some more details about the estate version.
