I have a 2016 touring. I just ordered these but k didn’t know about that trunk trim. Thank you. So just line up the black wires correctly and car should start w no blown fuses right ?

@@W77Entertainment yes there is another connector that you have to pull out of the taillight housing from vland

Just installed these taillights on my 2017 ex-l for some reason they won’t light up when I throw on my headlights as well as the LEDs on the inside part of the taillights are not coming on only the reverse light can you please feed some advice on what may be wrong

I got the tail lights but for some reason my brake lights and turn signals work but the actual tail lights wont turn on, did anybody had that same issue???

I just installed mine yesterday but my third brake light is not working, does anybody know why?

where did you get the chrome swap out piece??

You need to buy the trim piece that is on the 2013-2015 models. The difference is that it doesn’t flare out onto the taillights like the 2016-2017 models.

Hey great instructions changed out brake lights and everything was fine until I change the reverse lights and now the 2017 honda will not start any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!. I had to have it towed to a honda dealer! I only messed with the tail lights and reverse lights and the problem started once I messed with the reverse lights then it wouldn’t start and the smart entry system started blinking! Checked all the fuses and the tech replaced any blown fuse but they are having issues communicating with the car once they plug into the cars diode

@@thecaseyryan remove the reverse led bulb and disconnect the reverse light socket plug. Replace the meter fuse and your car will start. You can also check 2 other fuses as well. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pZqulMmafJqtkqg.html

You said ALL 13-17 models but it says doesnt fit LX.. is it only cuz of the bump on the connector you said to file/take off?

No, for the 13-15 LX, Sport, EX you only connect the grey connectors for the outer taillights and for the trunk taillight you dont connect anything to the white square plug. You use the white wedge connector and connect that to the grey 2 pin socket.

Are there any headlights similar for this model??

Yes but you should not replace them since you have a touring. You will get a headlight warning mesage on your gauge cluster and the turn signal will hyperflash. You will also need a conversion harness.

Can I still use the resistor box I got from you for the front led bulbs?

You only connect the plug that are available on your car. This is made as a universal taillight for all 13 17 accord.

@@DIYCarModz thought so- watched a couple videos and I know for a fact i have all pins/wiring right; must be a manufacturing issue then…when headlights go on, i get brake lights instead of rear running lights. They function correctly otherwise

@zacht4909 unplug the 4 pin brake connector on both side and reconnect the stock bulb to verify function. I do make and sell a conversion harness that will convert thr grey 4 pin factory connector to the white 4 pin connector.

@@DIYCarModz Figured it out; the way I had pins bent were incorrect. Stock bulb was functioning correctly so I knew it must be something I didn’t do myself.

For the bumps on the wedge can you also sand those bumps down or do you have to do exactly what you said in the video? 6:26

Yes, it can be installed on all 13 - 17 accord. Find a new mechanic.

Drive the car until the battery gets charged by the alternator. The lights should go off once the battery is charged.

reopen it and check did you plug it in wrong at some point?

I have a 2015 accord sport sedan, and I got these once but my brother in law who’s not a professional mechanic couldn’t match up the wiring correctly so I sent them back. But talked to someone who told me that he just didn’t know what he was doing cause I’ve seen many cars same as mine driving around with these. But I’ve heard about blowing fuses when it comes to that. Is that a worry I should have?

That guy is correct. These can be installed on all 2013 - 2017 Accord Sedan regardless of trim..lx.sport.ex.exl

So it being a 2015 accord sport I’d have to still worry about lining the black wires and red wires up when installing? I’m going to take it to a custom shop to a real mechanic for install but I’ve wanted these so badly for so long.

@JayBallz22 yes. Polarity has to line up. Doesn't have to be a "real" mechanic. There are plenty of mechanics that couldn't install these correctly. It has to be someone that has basic electrical automotive knowledge and common sense to figure out how and which plugs get connected. These are universal for all 13 -17 accords, so it's possible that not all plugs will be connected. If the installer tells you that it can't be done or they need to rewire it, swap wires, cut wires, need extra parts, etc etc then they do not know the correct way to install. These are plug and play.
