An old review of my Yamaha V Star 250 that I owned briefly. Overall a great beginner bike or city cruiser.

Great bike. I’ve been riding all of my life and my daily commuter is a ‘97 Rebel 250. It’s super reliable, and runs great on the highway.

I have had mine since April. Found a used 2013 with only 1300 miles on it. They are fantastic bikes and I’ll probably be riding mine for many years to come

i replaced the exhaust and rejetted the carburetor and honestly its so fun to ride sounds amazing and you dont need the choke to cold start it

I got my MSF certification riding a v-star 250 just like yours, and I'm hoping to get a Virago 250 just like it. Soon...

lol. I saw your knees up by the top of the gas tank then remembered you said you are 6-4!

I have an '18 V Star 250 just like this one. Raven Black metallic. Added a couple things to it. Gonna do a custom exhaust with dual side mount mufflers that look like the ones used on older Vettes. Then it'll be a true dual exhaust.

What is attached to the left mirror? I have one of these as well. A 2017 with 6,200 miles. Fun bike!

I was wondering when you were going to turn that choke off after getting down the road a good ways. Lol

When you start your bike in neutral, you're holding the clutch in. You gotta do that on a Suzuki, but not a Yamaha.

This is almost the smallest motorcycle among cruisers and it fit even 5'4 or even shorter people
