would this combination (IM508 + XP400) work to program key for 2018 VW Golf?

Hello my brother Has you tried programming a German car key with an Autel IM608 Pro under VAG Johnson Control without any problem?

You need to pay every time when use "add key" func for MQB type or immo4/5? I don't see that moment on video. I can't find info that tool need to charge $ before that operation.

Thanks for the video great job! Can this process still be done today? Will the server communicate for just adding key? Have one booked for Friday. Thanks!

@@mohammedilyas3938 it went perfect. Key programmed in perfect. Just make sure you have the right FCC ID. One has comfort access the other doesn’t. Transponders same in both but if you program the wrong one the remote won’t work.

Is it not worth saving eeprom data in case something goes wrong.

Hello, when doing this on my 2019 golf I get the error: server maintenance in progress. retry in 999hours. From what I read online VW stopped supporting the programmer. Does this still work for you? Or do I possibly need to update my programmer software?

Im508 will program these keys without xp400 ….just don’t use Xhorse generated keys and they cause problems with autel but work on avdi

Can we add key normaly even with servers down? Are servers only needed for akl?

You will only be able to make keys that do not require a connection to the server

i have 2014 vw jetta 1.8L push start button i bought from the auction wrecked it came with one key but does not run and its showing no keys on the system try to add a key with my Autel im508 xp400pro once the procces almost done on last thing fail learning key any suggusting
