    For everyone complaining about racking or shooting delays in pool videos remember that if you're watching this on a computer you can press J to skip 10 seconds back and L to skip 10 seconds forward. K pauses. After clicking on the video twice to pause and then resume you activate the arrow keys for 5 second skips. If viewing on a mobile device you can double tap the left and right side of the screen to skip forward and backwards 10 seconds. Get used to doing this and you can be much more efficient with your time and consume a lot more content.

    What the hell is up with all the negative comments on the commentating? Why don't you stop listening for gum chewing and try listening to Ken Shuman's excellent analysis and actually learn something and improve your games? He's the best I've heard at calling patterns. Geezus, I can't think of anyone who bitches more than a pool player.

    MikeyD22 His commentating isn't all that great. Pool is a hard sport to commentate since there is literally so many styles and tricks to each shot. Everyone sees things differently so commentating what you think would be better isn't always a good thing. They should try to break down a shot after it happened to why Shane or Jeff shot it that way other than saying he got poor position or this is a bad shot because they personally wouldn't take the shot. Those are my only quirks with it. It's definitely more apparent in the Mosconi cup too.

    bob talbot a lot of pace with no "strenght" used, almost as if he throws the cue, putting just enough pressure to not lose it from his hand. at least thats what I think:)

    Im so excited to watch these players - two of my favorites! Im pretty sure one of the commentators almost said “No sh**” in rack 7. what? Lol! Im sure they are knowledgeable and nice guys, but they could use some coaching to improve their commentator skills.

    +Ronnie Civella asinine off topic comment, they are used for no other reason than speed, depending on the hit I can make a corner ball or the head ball with regularity, in 9 ball the wing ball is automatic, click the hyperlink in my comment, watch the world 9 ball championship orcollo vs shane...aside from ball in hand no ball should be touched unless you are spotting it..."learn to break"??? what the fuck are you talking about??

    Great match, but who the hell is the commentator who non stop makes chewing sounds into the mic? Bro, I didn’t come here to listen to you eating, I’m here to watch the match.

  • @NHockerJazz
    @NHockerJazz3 жыл бұрын

    Why is everyone talking about chewing gum? I don’t think the commentator is chewing gum. His microphone’s gain is way too high, and he’s also too close to the mic. It’s probably a little headset mic that’s way too close to his mouth. Also some simple editing could lower the volume of those high pitch saliva splats. It’s not gum

    26:05 exhibit A of why pool is dying. "OH this isn't really too tough." Meanwhile the player is playing 3 rail shape for the 8 with the 13 ball and the side pocket as obstructions before the cue ball even reaches the first rail. The arrogant commentary is just such a turnoff to people who are learning the game. Explain the complexity of the shot, don't just sit there and say "oh he should make that..."

    If the magic rack "hurts" the game, then u need to look within..It gives constant racks every time so that both players get the same table to break. Even playing field.. U need to practice more breaks with that rack..so simple.
