I would be too, I didn’t buy a wrx for straight line speed and neither do most logical people hahaha. So beating a 500 that obviously thrives in that environment kinda means a lot

No bashing here or anything, but does that guy in shelby not know how to down shift or anything? cause correct me if im wrong but those are geared so high no? Literally sounded like he floored the car right at like 3k rpm.... But good shit none the less your subbie sounds amazing!!

how's that motor holding up with those #'s. Im FBO on 93 minus headers and EWG 317 whp 325 wtq and not sure if I wanna push it. I mean you did just kill a gt500....so I'm guessing the power gains are noticeably different from pump to E85.

Very cool...especially for the stock block/turbo. I imagine you have to run pretty rich and conservative to get some longevity out of it. For me I've run a 11.48 (everything stock), but I do plan on some bolt-ons in the next couple of months (i.e. smaller supercharger pulley, tune, replacement intake tube). I don't plan to run e85, but if I can easily switch back to a stock fuel parameters and tune to pass emissions then I will jump on the e85 bandwagon:).

He had full bolt ons ewg e60 so around 400 hp and 350 tq

probably stock gt500 but nice

Probably stock they only make 550hp at the crank (pre 2013) plus the dude couldn't drive he kept starting in a higher gear

GT500 needs a driver mod ASAP🤦🏻‍♂️. I’d love to run your WRX with my GT500... the outcome will be way different. I’m in NOVA too... and I also own a WRX as well

lol no stock wrx in this universe could beat that stock mustang, if both running same fuel. that mustang can do 200mph comfortably.(320km/h)

Subaru is a mod platform lol If you're keeping it stock you're probably not racing in a straight line. I'd love to see a Mustang (Thats not 60k+) keep up with a subaru on a canyon. Mustangs are finally getting more control if you pay 60k+ for the top end shit, but at that price point I'd prefer a C63

Gt500 shelby is in the wrong gear..thats gt500 is 650hores power..if he knows to roll race and right gear he would definitely destroy your wrx..looks like he is not racing hes just cruising but hes not really dropping gears..

WRX is 500+ CHP (400+whp) and the shelby is giving up 600-800lbs plus one passenger. This GT500 is slow. Maybe a newer one yes, it would be a struggle.

Wowwww a 2 pound modded sti beat a stock Shelby I guarantee you that Shelby has a stick and that guy is bad at shifting

Sorry but I have to call B.S. on this. I love my '15 wrx, but in no universe does it or any wrx beat a GT500 in a straight line. Not without a giant turbo, built engine, etc. Then it is not very streetable.

Mark you need to be educated on the Subaru tuning and building platform. Plus how AWD and power to weight ratio works. Because a 500hp Subaru STI could easily GAP a hellcat.
