I honestly don't get with all the criticism about how things "look". Are you guys there in person or actually have sat in one? Probably not. Please get off your high horse about BMW being the "best". Stop being a fan boy and learn to appreciate great engineering. It's funny cause the BMW interior has hardly changed over the years and looks dated. Not to mention that if you don't pay at least 20k plus in features and better materials, you're going to be stuck with a dull, hard plastic, spartan cockpit and car overall with a BMW badge that's worth 40% of the actual MSRP.

I’m not gonna say it’s stupid to buy a BMW. If you can afford all the maintenance costs of a BMW, sure a BMW isn’t really a problem… it’s just funny how most of the people that CAN’T afford a BMW manage to drive one. BMWs handle like a dream, not that this Lexus doesn’t don’t get me wrong, it’s just BMW puts sportiness first and luxury second whereas Lexus puts luxury first and sportiness second. Lexus luxuriousness is on par with that of a Mercedes Benz. Lexus quality is simply untouchable.

The competitors for this car may be better in certain aspects, but I like it because it's unique.

Said nothing about that spectacular Mark Levinson 17 speaker, 850 watt stereo !! Tisk Tisk ! But Im still subscribing !

Personally I love the new RC. I've sat in an IS before and the quality and feel was impressive. Also the design of the interior looks very sharp. As far as the exterior goes, the RCF looks a bit like overkill but this one looks elegant and sort of reminds me of the 6 series. Hate it or love it. I love it. Only thing, it''s slow. They need to launch an RC350S, or something that'll do 0-60 in the low 5's or high 4's. There is no middle ground between the 350 and F trim it seems.

I don't like the RCF at all. I know its got a big 471 horsepower V8 but it gets rapped in a drag race by a M4 and has the handling properties of custard, a.k.a rubbish. The RC might be a little better but honestly, wouldn't you want the tuned up faster version to be better than a standard version?

William Allen Thankfully I get regular press cars now so I can implement drive segments. Unless it's something older or a special car (i.e. hellcat, Z06, etc.) I will rarely have to go to a dealership. I can film higher quality videos this way!

Kyle I have a request if you can pull it off. I would like you to review the Porsche 918 Spyder if you can. I saw it on JayLeno's Garage but he didn't give an indepth detail review. I'm not sure you'll be able to pull it off but if you can that would be cool.

It's frustratingly difficult to find in-depth reviews of the RC (non-F variant) despite the fact that they will represent 90% of sales.

Before anyone bashes me i must say ill take this over German brands anyday. Reliability is a huge deal for me. I know you can stretch this car to at least 200k plus miles and still be valuable afterwards. Lexus is an awesome brand dependable and reliable has always been their upper hand advantage. Speed is not andl option its not like you can actually go that fast anyway well in America anyway lol. Seriously i love this car during my military timebim debating on a lexus and mustang.

does the RC really have a polarizing look? I think this is one of Lexus's more grounded and tamer design compared to the NX and that superbly ugly GX. Always love the advance looking interior of Lexus, great video as always!

It's true. Due to Lexus' "L-Finesse" design philosophy thanks to Tokuo Fukuichi (the designer also behind the Toyota Previa minivan which was nicknamed the "egg van" due to it's unusual roundedness). The problem a lot of people have with it is mainly the "spindle grille" which looks like Audi. He also says that "Even polarizing designs you get used to them after a while." But I am afraid to say, that simply is not true. Take a look at the Pontiac Aztek. It was even considered by many folk to be one of the "ugliest cars" and Car & Driver put it on their "Top 11 Worst Cars" list.

I never get this revving the engine. What is that all about?
