+WAYNE PAGE (porboy) How's the power? Do you think the base engine is efficient enough? I asked because I used to own a 2009 AWD Ford Flex and I thought it's underpowered.

I agree! All the way back to the 70's Town cars!

Love mine...but only if it had a little bit more room on the gas tank.....

I've always liked the look of the Flex, and searching around alot of people really seam to like it.

bought a new limited a month ago. love this thing. I've got the Hurst comment along with other negative remarks. As soon as they get in for a ride its a whole different tune. I can't believe the way this thing drives and handles, I live in Salt Lake and looked down doing 90 down the canyon and it felt like I was driving a sports car. Next day got 7 kids in the back for a trip to the pool and think there was room for one more in the 2nd row. Just talked to the guy I bought it from today and he confirmed that 2015 is the flex's last year. As far as I can tell I got the second to last new one left in the valley. I wasn't planning on buying a car that day just wanted to test drive some Fords but after driving the flex it was all over, so glad I got one.

Fineonee I called Ford a couple weeks and they told me they have no plan to remove the Flex from their line up.. I guess we will see.. They told me that they have talked about dropping the MKT but not the Flex. The lady said that the Flex is a vehicle that is love/hate thing. She said the people that own the Flex are loyal and that makes Ford happy, as of now they have no plan to remove the Flex.. I guess we will play the waiting game..

Eric Alexander very nice, thanks for the heads up. looks like not much changed besides the instrument and entertainment panels. I really don't find this sync 2 to be as bad as others say, all those buttons wonder how the blackberry will be.

I love this car but unfortunately here in KSA SEL model not come with panoramic roof :(

Really liked your review. I have a 2009 Flex and am considering a newer model. The upgrades look inviting. I really hope Ford continues the Flex without much exterior change. I love the look and interior room (except not fond of the newer grill).

It's destiny is to become a collectors item!

The styling is pretty interesting, it is shaped kind of Volvo like.. which isn't bad. Something like this is great for people with a decent size family and or if you need to haul gear and equipment around.

I agree, I do like it. :) It's very comfortable to sit in and ride in. While I was having my car serviced, I was able to ride in one. The dealership was using it as a Courtesy Shuttle. It's a shame it's not selling better. I hear that Ford is going to discontinue it soon along with the MKT, Is this correct?

Auto Vlog How is the MPG? I heard from a friend that it was so bad that it wasn't worth keeping but then others have said it's not so bad, that they average 18-20 MPG.

If you read consumers report, you will might agree with them that it is decent compared to others in the same class. It gets very decent mileage!
