Just some helpful tips. If the battery in your fob dies, there is a hole under the rubber mat in the very front most storage pocket on top of the dash. Just stick your key in the hole and you can start your car. Also if you start getting random check engine lights and various electrical issues than you 12v battery could be going. And third of you open the hood while the car is on then the engine will fire up and run until you shut it. Enjoy it as it has been by far the best commuter car I have owned.

Just to clarify, if you have limited access to charge the battery. Can you solely run on gas and charge occasionally?

Yes, that's fine. But if you're not plugging in regularly, it may be worth your time looking into some non-plug-in hybrids that could give you slightly better efficiency for the gas you're already using

What brand is the bag for your charge cord? I like the look of that one better than mine.

@@ajfagan7857 Naw. It was super-fun to watch - sent me straight to the dealer and I bought a 2015 premium today. Came home, ran some conduit and wire for an outlet close the the car and learned how to change 120v charging from 8amp to 12amp - hope I don't start a fire !

Thank you, and I had the mic facing backwards on top of the camera and it picked up a lot more noise than expected 🤣

Not sure what this means because GM invented the plug-in hybrid and everyone else tries to copy it without as much success.
