Whoever is having this issue, take your vehicle to your Mercedes Benz dealership. There is a extended warranty for intake line assembly which is the pcv valve., it should be covered 100% 15 years or 150,000 miles.

To anyone who is not a mechanic, this job cannot be done at home. This job is at least 10-12 hours. You must have a lift and a screw jack along with a ladder. The Aluminum motor mount bracket must come out as the seperator is behind it. The A/C compressor must be moved as it's bolted to the motor mount. The intercooler, throttle body, computer and bracket must be removed for access from the top. This job is very involved. Do your self a favor and take it to a dealer who's done hundreds of them. Hate to say it though.

Just did this today in my driveway. 5 hours with coffee and lunch break in between. Make sure you have inverted torx sockets, 1/4” 8mm swivel socket, and a set of regular and stubby gear-wrench wrenches. Take your time, Not difficult at all.

Hoping for some help. I just did this job and put everything together and car won’t start. It cranks and battery tests good but won’t fire up. I retraced my steps and without taking stuff apart I looked at all electrical connectors I can see and everything seems plugged in. Any suggestions? Don’t have a scanner and also Engine light is not on.

My 2015 c300 it’s -0 degrees where I’m at I drove it to the gas station I didn’t let it warm up properly nd it stuttered for bit then went normal got home and a huge puddle of oil was under it all the oil came out of the dip stick tube could this be the cause 🧐 it’s always ran super good has 146k

Mercedes benz should have a recall for that issue. PCV failure in the 2.0 engine for C300 and GLC 300 is out of any scale of normal lifecycle mechanical parts.

Is it easy for an average person like me? Or should I pay 600 to 1000?

I also have P052E in my 2017 GLC. However, it comes on and off. 2 shops told me to wait. What do you think?

@@anarasii am also suspecting the turbo but when I examine the turbine of the turbo it was good so can it be the oil seal in the turbo has fail or

Didn't have to take the alternator out. Worked that motor mount bolt out from the underside

I am charging $1,000 and people are paying it without hesitation as the dealer charges much more and some shops won't touch it.

MZ will cover this for free. They sent out letters to all owners with your VIN # on letter. The envelope was labeled "Extended Warranty Addendum". The extended warranty for the error code for faulty crankcase ventilation valve covers a wide range of models 2015-2020, C,-Class, E, GLC, SLC, etc. Covers 15 years/150,000 miles (whichever occurs first). Google the memo that Mercedes put out Aug-Sept 2023 to Managers if you cannot find yours and take it to a dealer. I believe the NHTSA also shared a memo on it. Mercedes will cover this for free. As well as other recalls or extended warranty that your vehicle has not been serviced for. If you already paid for service at a MZ dealer or purchased parts from them, you may be eligible for reimbursement. See details in letter. Hope this helps someone as it was a life saver for me!

Note - you do not have to have Extended Warranty on vehicle. This faulty part is what is covered itself.

You only have to replace the valve, not the complete assembly. 2.5 hour job. Thats it.
