I have a question ?? That white plastic tube in front of the access door is that the retractor for the glove box door ???? I opened my glove box and found the cable not attached to anything !! Not sure if a service tech pulled it out or if it was like that from the factory !! Maybe I can get it back together.

I have a '16 Yukon XL, and have done exactly as your video shows...great job. I will only add one comment, when REMOVING the filter (depending on the age) is to be careful that the leaves and stuff don't fall "down" the shaft when you extract it.......why? Because that is where the fan motor is and if leaves or crap get stuck in there, when you turn on the fan...you will "hear" the leaves and junk in the cabin as the fan spins.....and it gets worse as the fan spins faster! The fix to that is remove the lower hush panel, bolts for the fan, and then remove the leaves/junk from the fan vanes......I only say all this here as I made that mistake after my good buddy at the dealer warned me about it......and even with care.....still had to clean out the fan motor! Great video on the procedure.

I suspect that I may have to do this. Where are the hush panel bolts located?

@@robertlothery891 I recall there being 3 bolts, two up front, and one in the rear inside the "indented" plastic. They should be the standard 7mm 6 point screw in a speednut that GM uses everywhere else. The fan motor uses the same screw head size, but a plastic threaded version, so be sure you don't mix up the 2 screw types.
