I just bought a 2016 SRT Night Edition (black on black) I'm really liking this SUV. Saved $8800! I love the styling, interior amenities and tech features. UConnect 8.4 is very easy to use. Everything is right within reach. I think it is a great alternative to the ML63, X5 M and Porsche Cayenne S/GTS. I feel like the SRT team nailed it in terms of handling and performance. If there is one downside it's the steering. It could stand to be a little more communicative. It's too light when on-center. If you're in the market for a high performance SUV that's practical for daily use I strongly recommend you cross shop this SUV. You will be pleasantly surprised by the performance, features and price.

To everyone stating that you wouldn't buy this... Or you'd buy a RR... I own a 2014 Cherokee SRT. I've been in RR's. For the money you spend on the SRT you can not get a new SUV that even compares. It's a stellar product for a very specific clientele. If you fit the bill for a prospective buyer then you'll most likely fall in love with this truck.

My first car was a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I went through 3 transmissions with that thing lol. Definitely wasn't the most reliable car ever but I haven't lost my faith in Jeep. These new GC's look sexy! Hopefully they're more reliable now too.

I didn't find the ride to be particularly stiff. It is not exactly cushy, but it never bothered me in everyday driving.

When I first saw this video, I thought the internet trolls would be out to comment. Seems I was right. Great video man; keep it going.

Your problem with the shifter results from the fact that you're holding it wrong. It's supposed to be holded like the throttle of a boat, meaning that all the fingers belong on top.

I love when ppl say "72,000 for a Chrysler?" We'll yea? It's a very nice car! Just cuz it's a Chrysler doesn't mean it isn't up to par with other luxury vehicles.. Ppl have to stop using thier Bias to come up with thier rediculas statements

fred wilson whatever the reason is people bought this vehicle for, is there a Pinyan, their taste, their liking come other flavor. And they didn't go with the other vehicle, so they're just stating their opinion. Obviously they could afford the vehicles that they critiqued, but put their money where their mouth is

Everytime I see the SRT model I stare, then pick my jaw up off the floor. They look great, sound great, and perform great. Definitely a decent buy for motorheads.

Great Looking Jeep!

Had a v6 2014 JGC, avg fuel economy was 16mpg. On regular gas, so that kind of helped keep me out of the poorhouse.

I haven't seen any Audi SUV review or videos can y'all do one? oh yea nice looking car wish I had the money to buy it lol

Great looking Cherokee. Too bad they don't offer this appearance package on the V6. It would be awesome to have the mean look AND the better gas mileage. If we could time travel this baby back to 1965 and pay $.10 a gallon we'd be set.

You don't really compare gc srt to x5m. They don't share the same pricetag. x5m is better in many ways but gc srt manages to be the best_bang_for_the_buck sort of suv in this segment.

A little chunky steering wheel but I would prefer a slimmer driver! Lol. I think you may have hindered the performance numbers and the mpg with the "extra weight". So the curb weight was 5600 lbs with driver for these tests? Just checking.

+Feliz Soler Soler Sí, es un HEMI 6.4L. Le digo que con menos de 2,000 millas, de repente, mientras mi amigo, que es el dueño, conducía, redujo la velocidad. Le comenzó un cancaneo en el motor, y mantuvo una velocidad muy lenta. Si él aceleraba, entonces templaba todo, y no avanzaba. Lo llevó al concesionario y le dijeron que el problema eran los botadores (eso dijeron), y se los cambiaron. Ahora él tiene dudas. No sabe si salir de él o no, pues dice que le gusta el vehículo.

Definitely will not. Any major change will come on the WK3 platform which will probably release the SRT model in 2018

It's a dinosaur, but a part of me likes the idea that this sort of silliness still goes on.

For the price its great, but performance wise its at the back of the field compared to its rivals. 6.4 liters only gets 470hp? BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche are all pushing close to 600hp with smaller engines

this 6.4L should have had 510-520 bhp. Something with more HP than the ML63 .

I dont know to get this one, Golf R, cayman s, or Mustang GT, they are all around the same cost except this jeep, the Golf R has the same speed as this jeep, it is german but smaller, the cayman is sexy as hell, the mustang GT is cheaper in terms of build quality but good looking.

This doesn't have every option cuz if it did it would have the beige Laguna leather which is what is in my uncles

is this a review or a commercial! there are so many recalls and problems in transmission and other parts that will make anyone buying this car feel cheated to say the least.

Fiat/Chrysler should abandon these abominable, stocky electronic shifters on future models & return to a more conventional automatic shift lever or implement the newer rotary dial found on the 2014 Durango.
