Some people are embarrassed to drive mini vans but I think it’s stylish and I love how spacious it is. Thanks for the review! Hopefully I’ll own one soon

I just found your well done video. Yesterday I bought this exact car… a 2014 Honda Odyssey Elite with just 74,679 miles on it. It was a 1 owner car that’s had the dealer I bought from do all of the service work. The CARFAX shows the oil changes were done diligently. They did both the fron and rear brakes as part of the presale preparation. It’s black with grey leather upholstery and looks brand new. I paid top dollar though…$23,000 out the door. I hope yours is still pretty problem free. From the research I’ve done the 2014 model was a pretty reliable car.

Thank you for watching!! It's still running great to this day. Outside of regular maintenance, we have not had to put any money into it.

Looks sharp and you did an excellent job with your review! I like these better than the newer Odysseys. Do you still have your Camry too?

Thanks for the feedback. The only major thing we’ve done since this video is new tires. Outside of that and regular maintenance, no issues at all. Everything still operates as it should!

We're looking at getting a used 2014 EX-L with 88k miles, do you think this is a smart purchase or do you think that this is too high mileage for this van? Thank you for your thoughts!

To this day, this one only has 57K miles and it literally still drives like it did in 2014. I do know a few people with this model and they have over 100K and their vans have held up well. I would say 88K is not bad at all. As long as the Carfax and service history are good, the van should be good for many miles to come. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks! As of now, yes. They don't want another van lol. We've had vans since the 1st gen Ford Windstar was in production lol.

It's still holding up very well. Just put a new set of tires on it. It gets a lot more use now than it did when it was newer and still no issues.

@@TheLeGeNdPvE 65,000 now. Since the van was new, anytime you're slowing down and then proceed to accelerate in between 1st and 2nd gear the van will have a slight jolt. For example if you're slowing down to make a right turn, once you make the turn and accelerate it will jump very slightly. All three of our Odysseys have done that though so maybe it's just how it's assembled. But no issues.

@braineyboy Ahh 10-4 I heard they need frequent trans drain and fills and reprogramming etc... I was looking at a few sienna as well 11-17 I also found out they have complete trans failures at any given mileage as low as 40-50k even when babied so I went back to look at some odyssey's as of late..

@@TheLeGeNdPvE We did have the trans flushed at 60K back in January. No reprogramming though. It wasnt messing up or anything just maintenece along with an oil change. I think Honda reccomends a flush between 60-70k. I would try to find one that has regular dealer service on the carfax. (Or a Honda cerfified mechanic shop) In my expericne it means the car has been cared for. As for the Sienna, we had a first gen a while back that was bulletproof. We put close to 200K on it before we sold it and eveything still worked. The newer Siennas im not THAT familiar on, besides having one as a rental like 3 years ago.

How do you read the odometer

  • @M.McKinney

There are two buttons on the lower right side of the steering wheel. That will take you through all of your infotainment settings including the odometer.
