Mine made 164 to the tire after a tune (all stock, down to the dirty air filter) The other 1000cc's will eat this thing's lunch in a straight line tho. 2013 ZX10 is making 190+ on 93 oct after exhaust and a tune

the fireblade is one of the best motorcycles on the planet maybe the best next to a R1. use the engine and you'll see its a bullet with wheels. its a superbike for the road. its an exquisite motorcycle. i have an older 600cc and thats a beautiful machine. next summer im getting a fireblade. nothing feels like a honda.

I raced a cbr 1000 in my 2010 zr1 vet not sure what year model the cbr was but I have 655 hp in that car only weighing 3100 pounds and that thing gaped me like I was going the speed limit lol those cbr bikes are fucking ridiculous

The rev match at 1:23 back to first is 100% badass.

Been wanting to buy one but a newer model, seeing a big boy on an older model gave me reassurance... good shit dude.

@@emoney2272 Yep.... Live down that way now. Once you get used to the trails. We will get you on to what they call the "outlaw" trails. There's way more of them than there are trails on the system. Then there's no speed limit, trail police etc. Ride into Va. and Ky. as well. Then of course it's legal to ride your SxS, Dirtbike, or Quad on the two lane here also. Ride it to the grocery store, movies, McDonald's etc.... lol.... You see everything around here.

Aside from I need a good cruiser or sport bike again. I had a ZX-14 back when they had first came out. Ended up in a bad accident and laid up a few months. Wife hasn't been a big fan of sport bikes since.

Not a gear Nazi.... but riding like that you should toss some on =) Take it from someone that has been down enough times to know. Very sexy bike though. I like the fact that you are one of the very few riders I have seen that (mostly) properly blip your downshifts... seem extremely rare. Of course.. you still use the clutch.. but we are not all perfect lmao. Be safe.

First bike ever, do you have life insurance?

mad skills right there....some of those top end power wheelies made me squeamish and I been riding since '69. I agree with some that leathers might help with road rash but man you go down at 150 + and even your momma ain't gonna recognize you!! In 1978 I was on ambulance and two guys I knew hit the back of a stationary taxi van doing at least 120....face of the driver was a perfect imprint on the back of the door and when I moved his helmet it made a squishing noise. Had to match the legs with the torso's and two of the feet with the proper bodies. I would take a slide in leather over hitting an immovable object any day. Stay safe brother!!

Supercharge your 1000 and you'll be neck for neck with an H2. I don't know why people think the H2 is unstoppable.

As a noob ride your mega dank nooners were both terrifying and awesome.. I’m getting a 2012 cbr1000rr in a few months, and MAYBE I’ll try and learn how to do a few myself. Cool vid and even cooler bike

Will leave out the now obvious gear lecture. That RR is really starting to speak to me. Looks like it has tons of torque and power everywhere. Why do you prefer it to other liter bikes? Which bikes do you prefer over the CBR, and why? Thanks, and stay safe.

adaptiveagile I think I prefer the suzuki gsxr1000. I haven’t ridden newer 1000s. But as far as older 1000s, the Suzuki’s are amazing. Honda’s second place. Newer kawis are badass, older kawis usually have problems. My buddy has a bmw that is badass but he won’t let me ride it. Lol!!! I’d love to try the new R1!
