@@GalimotoMedia Because it revs real quick to its 6,800 rpm redline. Why? 1. Gearing 2. J35 Vtec 3. SOHC 4. It's a 60 degree V-degree engine

6.6 seconds 0-100km/h is not that fast for this accord, most accords V6 can get from 0-100km/h between 5.5 to 5.8 seconds, some people that had 0 wheelspin got 5.4 seconds, which is a problem because this car has a lot of wheelspin

Nah this is about right, most times are hero times (that you see) not AVG times. And even those instances there is hardly ever an accurate time measurement.

So true the wheel spin is crazy you don't even need to push it all the way for it to spin out from 0 so annoying gotta get really good tires I guess

Not bad it did 5.5-5.6 secs 0-100 My g37xs sedan auto does it in 5.3secs

The accord is faster than the 350gt easily

This is over a second slower than most V6 accords.. Mine can do this in the low 5s. 6.6 is great for a car in general but not for this one. It might be the elevation you are at also because that affects the HP on N/A engines

This was recorded at sea level and the 0-60mph time on this run was 6.30 seconds. Are you using proper GPS-based measuring devices or a buddy with a stop watch?

People like speed, but I like the sound more.

Es un motor poderoso pero tambien bastante mas economico en sus rendimiento que su competencia. Definitivamente no es en absoluto un auto deportivo y hecho para ser exito de ventas en USA.

Good question, we only tested this (media fleet) vehicle for a week. Given it's a Honda, it should be reliable with proper care and maintenance!

Nope, regular automatic. You can even hear it briefly hit the rev limiter in second gear! :)

es un auto familiar grande y pesado y no esta echo para ser deportivo , es para ir suave y comodo , la potencia que tiene esta mas que bien , anda mejor que sus rivales como mazda 6 , camry y maxima , y si quieres una aceleracion mas fuerte pues compra el nuevo hond accord touring , que viene con un 2.0T el mismo motor del type r , ese ya es otra historia anda muy fuerte , pero tampoco es necesario en un auto de ese estilo

jose sosa el Accord 2.0T es apenas un poco más rápido, no mucho. Este Accord tiro el primer y segundo cambio mal. Además mira la temperatura.
