If it was just legalized the violent crime associated with prohibition would dramatically decrease. Take a fraction of the money that would be saved on prosecuting the drug war and use it for prevention, intervention and treatment only the truly hardcore would be effected. The war on drugs has only succeeded at creating an industry for prisons etc and the drug epidemic has only grown. If we fought WW2 like the drug war we would all be speaking Japanese and German.

The tunnels were a briljant investment. One tunnel: cost's 5 million dollars. Average shipments through the tunnel: 100 million The first shipment pays for the tunnel in full. It remains undisclosed for, let's say a year, and every week, drugs worth 100 mill. goes through it. And after just one year: 5.195 billion dollars in profit. But until someone finds a way to eliminate or treat drug addiction, all we can do is keep going after them, no matter how many they are.

They just so happen to be retired now. Not a matter of if, it's when the cartel finds them wherever they are. Must really suck constantly looking over your shoulder

Because maybe you didn't really know any, I was in San Quinton for drugs and guns and 50 % of everybody I was on the yard with was either on drugs when they did a crime or sold drugs or did a crime so they can get drugs the rest was in there for domestic violence an maybe because they were on drugs , or even robbed or killed someone who sold drugs if it wasn't for drugs 60-75 % of people probably wouldn't be in jail an the US would make no $ from taxpayers paying for inmates to be housed an it wouldn't be that many police
