it s just the youth reality of that inocence that it is lost not the happiness, we can do same thing enjoying with new or old friends, things that can make us feel if not the same at least something like thatm we out with the bike at one abandoned house playing with the ball and climbing the old abandoned housem one of us jumped and got back problems till recently :))

It was much more P2W back then. Gold was much more expensive and it was very hard to get free premium vehicles. My first line was the Cromwell line and it was so hard to get credits or premium account, I often couldn’t afford camo or premium shells. I was usually completely broke. It didn’t help going against heavies two tiers above you with completely impervious armor, either. Nowadays the matchmaker is more balanced although still bad for competitive players, premium account is a constant freebee, free battle passes make getting gold, camos, premium account as well as grinding much easier. Free premium tanks aren’t hard to come by, there’s an event every few weeks with one if you play enough. Not to mention the free tier 6 you can get by just watching ads.

As a person who has over 300k battles with my two acc combined and have played since the game was released it's great seeing the game get better with graphics and getting more tank lines but it's also depressing to me, nothing will be better than the first time I hopped on and played my first 100 battles😢

@@Crackshotlol that's not what P2W means :skull:, P2W means that you have to pay to get better items than most people that don't pay. and tbh, WOTB has those but only on tier VII and can be bullied even by tech tree tanks, it depends on the skill of the player wich is not P2W

with p2w kinda, but what you can do is you can watch gold ads every day for a year like i did and you can save up enough to buy tier 10 collectors which are 20k gold, i did that with the vk90

Is it actually that the game is better, or is it that we grew up. We went from having no responsibilities in 2014, just getting home from school and getting online and now we have work to go to, taxes to pay, so many places to attend. I think its just memories of a better time, all of its the nostalgia and that we want to go back.

As someone who grew up on regular wot since 2012 (which I'm sure blitz has had some similar greed changes over the years) but the constant pump of premium tanks since 2015, poor balancing changes, and on PC ever since the chieftain has been added to the game it's been essentially unplayable both for pubs and competitive play. Now WG is focused on alternative modes because nobody likes 15v15 cheiftains in comp play so now they've made it 7v7 and removed reward vehicles from ranked, when that didn't work they added a bunch of powerups to ranked and made that 7v7 as well. WG devs didn't know where to take the game so they drove it into the ground and have only cared about monetizing it. Recently got into blitz and while its more bearable without the EBR/arty/chieftains running around, I can see there are still a lot of questionable things that I can find frustrating.

As a guy with 20000 battles that has been playing since the first day of release. I can sadly confirm that wot blitz fell off really hard and nothing will bring back the good old days. It’s a classic example of game that was slowly but surely ruined by greed

With most online games it is like that, at first everything is great but over time the more you know about the game and the better you play it loses a bit of touch (I say this from experience)

The Hetzer was the first tank I “grinded” for back when it first came out. Honestly it made me personally enjoy the lore of tanks. Still remember when mu family went to a Military Museum of sorts with aircrafts and tanks…. Seeing the Hetzer in real life in front of me was a moment

I've been playing since June 2014 when the game was released, I saw the really old training on the Tier 6 where the armored enemy was Ferdinand. Game was much more fun at those times, no toxic players, everyone were respecting each other, funny tanks such as T18, T82, Hetzer with 105 mm, T-46 with OP auto-cannon which was destroying everything, T40. Does someone remember that Alecto had 105 mm cannon too? Game was really fun, especially playing in a platoon with friends. I will never forget those good times...

I remember playing on 2017-2019...........that tutorial gave me nostalgia 😢...i wish wot blitz bring it back.....

It's sad most people that play blitz don't realize how much there missing out on Ps4/Xbox and PC. Blitz felt like it was training for the real thing.

i miss the wotb 2017-2019 was still best :(

Thing that changed 2015-2019 wotb 1) some people are making sus rooms 2) they now trashtalks us 3) many tanks got nerfed 4) many tanks has been forgotten 5) some players are now bullying the new ones 6) they changed the good gun sound to the bad ones 7) old maps got remove 8) the maps gets smoller 😢 9) they removed the old traning system 10) they remove all the old tier 1s 11) they are now making mobile users lag bcuz of the new remodel maps 12) seems like old wotb is better than new ones 😢 (I log at 2015 wotb)

@@user-iz4de5vg8q man forgot that making new PBR graphics takes time, you need to re-made the whole model, adapt the new hitboxes, the textures, the rig and overall, they add 4 tanks with pbr per month (wich is good tbh) and add new tanks, that means doing a lot of HD models and remaking others

the old tutorial took me off, as a play who has been playing for more then 9 years now, world of tanks blitz has truely been a jounrey to me, being one of the best things that has ever happened to me in my life. I remeber playing the tutorial with my dad when we were waiting for our car to get repaired and all these memories when i was a kid playing wotb came back making me face back to how wotb is today, a not bad game, but kinda pay top win...

Update 5.5 and its consequences have been a disaster for WoT Blitz.

People are getting to competitive and are rude when you play an tier 10 to "have fun"

Nowdays you can barely find lobbies as a new player in a squadron (2 players) in lower tiers, its harder to get friends new to the game to enjoy it as much we did.

To be honest, world of tanks blitz is quite depressing nowadays, I can't do a single match without running into half an enemy team full of premiums like bro, I'm playing a tier v. Why in the hell am I going up against tier 6 premiums that have more armor than half the tanks in tier 7??? Give or take. I've been playing this game since 2018 and I've been off and on it since then and just recently got back to it

The more you grind and get better at the game with better tanks the more better people with tanks your level you see and face, and camo doesn't change anything and nore the community, the WoT community is very friendly and cool unlike War thunder sometimes, so appreciate the hard work out in game

Went from World of Tanks blitz to World of Tanks PC to WarThunder to WarThunder sim battles then finally to DCS. Great journey from 2016 all starting with world of tanks blitz’s and the KV2 was my favourite in that game with 1 shot gun the good old days

Since I didn’t start playing until 2022, so for me the game goes from a fun grind through the first V-VI ranks to a brutal one just to get a few hundred thousand silver to get a new tank that doesn’t work without a lot of upgrades and experience

wotb back in the day was so nice whitout Covid-19 (started playing 2019) we would always play it and when i got the M7 DAMN it was fun ramming others tank! i still have that tank and still have the good memory from it! Miss you old wotb!

It wasn't that horrible tho. In the contrary 2020-2022 was the years i played wotb the most. Cuz school was closed cuz of covid. Super memorable time, best time of wotb

i remember playing wot blitz as a child on my ipad and being surprisingly good at it, and i kept spamming affirmative and negative not knowing what they meant. i also had no idea how powerful each tank was, and only played as the ones that looked the coolest to me, wish i could find that ipad again..

Same here I grew up with this game it's been a while since I played it, my old iPad doesn't run blitz as good as before

That tank in 2014 was so fun to play, it had good armor and nice stronk cannon
